That is a great price for a Sat wedding. You can keep looking but you will see that very few other RH's will throw all that stuff in for the quote. Leonards is charging me less than $70 a head for a Fri night but I don't get any extra in there (other than chair covers).

I don't think that is a bad price at all..I would go for it if you love the RH.

i don tknow if its somthing you want to think about but can you cut out some of the extras? that woul dprobably cut a bit off the price if you got rid of the ice scuplures or something else? JMO

That is a tough position to be in where you feel like you are risking pissing off the hall over something that you can afford- which it sounds like you can and he just wants the price brought down on 'principle'. I think throwing in extras is the halls way of trying to get you to feel the price they are offering is fair. Also if he feels the need to negotiate with them on something, maybe see if you can get them to lower the number of people you need to guarantee. Good luck!

Wow that is a really great price I'm paying more but Im also getting married in April that may be why....What I did instead of keep asking for money off I asked them to throw extra things in at no cost like the food on the menue that you have to pay extra for and also I got them to give me an extra hour at the end of the night for the Vienesse Hour so my cocktail hour and recepiton are 6hrs its worth a try but to be honest I think your getting a great price....You will be happy with them in the end.

we went there last year to look at it.. and if they would have given us THAT price we woulda booked in a hearbeat!
they quoted us at over $150/pp... the only 'extra' was a roasted pig!
FH didn't like the BM, so we didn't even try and negotiate the price or even ask for a different day/month.

but if you both LOVE it... book it!

I think you should always try to negotiate but that's a good price for all you're getting, so don't lose your date because of it. I wish you luck!

Wow, that price is amazingly low. If it makes you feel better though I guess it can't hurt to negotiate something little in.
