For the processional, I'm having the girls and guys walk separately... the guys first then girls. For the recessional... should I do the same thing? Or just pair them up? Will the 11 yr old jr bm look funny walking next to a grown man? They don't have to link arms...
And for the reception... should I annouce the 11 yr old jr bm with one of the GM? Separately? Or maybe don't annouce her at all.. let her hang out with her parents and siblings?

My Jr. BM is being announced at the reception with a GM (a short one). I think she would feel left out otherwise.

Typically, they walk out in pairs...usually they either walk in sep. or the GM are just waiting at the altar with the groom.
I don't think the Jr. BM will look silly with a grown man by her side. And if he's cute and single, she might get a secret kick out of it.

yea i agree...u s should announce her if all the other BM are going to be, either w the shortest guy or youngest...prob go w shortest so pics dont come out 'odd'

I have the same situation as you. My Jr. BM is walking by herself, and one of by bridesmaids is walking with two GM.

I was just at a wedding where jr BM walked with one of the GM - it looked fine!!!

My jrBM is 9 and will be walking with a GM, he happens to be her uncle so it works out for us! He's a grown man but I know that's what she'd feel most comfortable with, rather than walking alone. And she'll walk in with him for the reception so she still gets some time in the spotlight.

I am having my niece who is going to be 14 as a Jr. BM and I will have her walk with my brother (her uncle) so that she doesn't feel weird. As far as the dance??? The bridal party can link up with their significant others I guess.???
