i think the movie looks OK, but i absolutely hated the book..
i dont think the guy knows what he is talking about...
all becasue a guys sex drive goes down doesnt mean hes not that into you
all because he isnt as romantic as he was the first 3 months of the relationship doesnt mean hes not into you..
and so on and so on..
idk, i just dont like the man. i never have. i think he is clueless...
lol sorry for the rant..jmo!
i thought he was accurate. Theres alot of other things he spoke about that dealt with first meeting a guy. For example if you start dating a guy and he says Ok ill call you wednesday and then doesnt or always forgets to call you and says he was busy he forget then hes not that into you. Which i think is absolutely true, if a guy is really into you then he would find time during his busy day to call you and if he tells you he will call then he will, he wouldnt want to jeopardize things with you.
Or if you hang out with a guy, mostly at his house, only usually meeting up for sex, and he wont really date you then hes not that into you. Which i think is true. Most werent about the romantic scenario but things guys do in the beginning to know. If they dont call, or if they break plans with you, or even there was a whole thing about him never introducing you to his friends, or doing anything with you. Most of the examples he gave i think were accurate, maybe 1 or 2 things about what a guy should do far into the relationship maybe
the book became popular bc he was on oprah and there were so many women on that show that needed a reality check, he didnt even have to tell them his advice bc everybody was looking at them like are you serious. One girl was dating a man that ONLY text her never actually called her. And only when he wanted to hang out would text and usually was about sex.

i feel like he got paid to write about the obvious

here is the funny thing, ALOT of women dont realize its obvious or what i think is they are so into the guy they ignore the obvious bc they dont want to believe the truth and they convince themselves that he is into them. I mean we all can say we know or knew women who were with men who they shouldn't be but they stuck around. They even asked jen anniston on the jay leno show questions regarding the book since she hadnt read it and i couldnt believe her answers. They asked the not calling thing and she said awww no maybe he is busy. Then they asked about the him not dating you part and she said no i dont think thats true either, he might be into you but is waiting.
Also there were a bunch of other topics that werent as obvious, i gave the most obvious topics he had in the book.

i know i wasnt saying anything about your opinion, sorry if you took it the wrong way. I joked about the fact that unfortunately some women dont notice the obvious and make excuses for the guy so unfortunately some women sometimes need to hear the truth. Also cant say i was surprised about jen anniston she keeps dealing with bs from men too so no surprise there.
Of course you dont have to like the book, everyone is entitled to their opinion. And its great that you were always able to know but i think we can all say that so many women out there don't know. Or maybe even men too, shouldn't say only women are clueless lol
