i know i thought i was dreaming when i had them say that but thats not the first place i heard that aug is lower than sept oct etc but the lowest months there of course are jan-march

Yea wow Im really suprised too bc the summer weddings were more expensive at my hall. Where are you planning to get married?
i think ive read that you havent booked your date, so if you havent booked anything, you really cant expect someone to move their date for someone that has nothing set in stone.
hers isnt booked either i just know she wants that month and year but i agree with u girls too

i was gonna book but since i found out wat month she is looking at i didnt want our weddings to crash

im not sure i understnad..if your cousin got engaged and you want your date and are afraid he/she will take it, why arent you booking?
when i got engaged and set our date my father called almost everyone we knew haha ... BUT then my 2nd cousin got engaged after me and sent out his save the dates before me ... so it felt like a game almost ... haha (and our weddings are three weeks apart which means that family from out of state are not going to be able to come to both weddings) annnyyywayyyy .... it is what it is ... i mean i am not going to let that bother me! i know that the people who need to be there will be there ... i would just keep the date/month...

I don't think you can say anything to her until you book your hall. You can't ask someone else to put their plans on hold unless you have a firm plan.
so if i book this week and i tell her and she books the same month anyways then wat
Then unfortunately nothing you can do but hope for the best...and try to negotiate a low minimum with the RH just in case you do have a lot of nos as a result of not being able to attend 2 weddings.

book something so you have a leg to stand on when/if you make this request that she avoid 8/10. if she still goes ahead those plans, then you would still be within your contract at a lot of RHs to cancel/reschedule and get your depsoit back.
