DH & I are going to Phoenix on the 19th and planning to drive up to the grand canyon for 2 days. It would be great if you could make any recommendations

believe me the trip from Flagstaff to Phoenix is a scary one on a sunny day (10,000-0 feet!!!)...I can't imagine what it would be like during monsoon season....thankfully you made it...
you didn't realize it but you passed DH's old town Wickenburg (there is an exit off I-17 for it)
were you able to have a clear night to look at the stars in the Grand Canyon? Its truly amazing!!!
as for the computer....first try downloading spybot...it may be able to delete any spyware programs that kazaa installs....if that doesn't work...let me know...i'll pass the prob onto DH...

Hi Marni - Sorry we missed you guys. I left a message, but I called last minute anyway. I think it was your last night in Vegas, not sure. We had a great trip! We loved Mandalay Bay. Vegas was alot of fun!

So glad to hear it Cindy!!! We got to visit Mandalay Bay - holy cow, it is GORGEOUS in there!!!! Loved it! We went to the Shark experience.....that was cool...
We saw O at the Bellagio too.......it was the best show I've ever seen (and this is coming from a Phantom of the Opera fan)......I was actually tearing at the end!!!!!!!
So what did you do there????????

Marni - We were very busy. We went on the stratosphere rides, New York New York rollercoaster, visited most of the hotels. We got to see O and loved it too. We got a great deal on renting a car for 20 bucks a day. It cost us 8 each time we took a cab from Mandalay to the center of the strip so it was well worth it. We were super happy with Mandalay Bay. We got a great view of the strip. Oh....how could I forget that I had to visit The Palms hotel. We didnt stay long but got to walk through. How was your stay there?

The Palms was BEAUTIFUL! And I have to say the slots were lucky!!
You'll get a kick out of this - as we were checking in I asked the man if by any chance they give tours of the Real World suite. He laughed and said no, you must book the suite to see the suite. So I asked how much it is a night and he said $5,000 Mon - Thurs. and $8,000 Fri - sun. Um, guess I'll never see it!!!!!
The women, almost all of them, who visit the palms and go to the clubs are GORGEOUS. So obviously beautiful, that I told my husband he was allowed to look!!!!!!!! It was pretty hard not to! I felt like a little frump, so hid in front of my video poker machine and played away!!!!! LOL
So glad you had a great time Cindy!!!!!!!!!!! We'll just have to meet in NY I guess!!!!!

Marni - I heard that they rent The Real World Suite for that much. We wanted to check out The Ghost bar, but it was during the day. Did you get to check it out? I played alot of slots...always fun!! Yes, I hope to meet in NY since we didnt catch up in Vegas
