I just have to say...sorry i have a big mouth..

Not to excuse your FH behavior because Alcohol is NOT an excuse to act like a complete jerk..

But does this bimbo forget that she was at an ENGAGEMENT party and he was the GROOM???

Seriously- out of all the single guys in the room did she need to sit on the GROOMS lap????

She KNEW what she was doing in my opinion..some women love the game!!!

You have to follow ur heart- because only YOU know what your FH is and isnt capable of.. IMO..make his arse squirm a bit!!!

Good luck to you

ITA the girl is sooo at fault, usually im all about go after your man not the girl.. in this case it was her fault she knew he was/is the groom to be!

Re: Hi ladies...

I've been *** from our board (work is just hectic!) but first, just want to say I'm sooooo sorry that you have now been put in this situation. I cannot imagine all the different scenarios that are running through your head right now. I think like some of the other girls have posted, if you can truly, 100% get over this, and put it behind you, whether or not you do seek couples counseling and day-by-day FH proves his devotion and loyalty to you than there is definitely a chance for reconciliation. I think that you have to evaluate the relationship and see if you want to remain in it. If you think that this is going to be something that will be lingering (always nervous when he goes out to a bar or a dinner or any social event where there is alcohol involved) or something that you may use against him in an argument in the heat of the moment, than I would think twice about continuing the relationship. I have known people that made it all the way to Pre-Cana and realized that they would NEVER EVER see eye-to-eye about past issues and ultimately decided it wasn't worth it and they called off their wedding. I firmly believe that it is better to leave the relationship if you are not 100% sure about your partner going into it rather than trying to fix a problem and wind up divorced. Save yourself the time and energy. It is really all very too fresh to even think of a final decision but I definitely think that you made the right move by moving out and collecting your thoughts. If you need anything you know the '12 girls and the rest of the LIW girls are here for you!!!!

Also- I love reading the comments about getting the 'heffer' - everytime i read that word I just crack up. (not the point of my post but i had to add this) and seriously W-T-F is wrong with some people?!?!?!!?!? At an engagement party and some random finds herself between the future grooms legs... people are disgusting.

'Heffer' or 'Heffa', however you choose to say it, is a great word. I don't get to use it as often as I'd like. She's definitely that..and we hate her!

Sidebar: So, if you type M.I.A., it'll show up. It got starred out because there is a hair/makeup vendor with the name who shall not be spoken of by name on the boards. But we do anyway, we just put a star or . between the letters.

Re: Hi ladies...

Im so sorry that this is happening to you!! Im sure that nothing anyone says is going to make you feel better but you did the right thing. Its better to stay with your sister until you can figure out what you want to do. He may have been very drunk but he should also be more responsible with what he does. Its not worth it to risk losing the one you love ya know? Plus now im sure it has caused you to start questioning everything and thats so unfair to you. All I can say is to take your time and decide what you want to do. You come first now and you need to do whats best for you. Sending you huge hugs

well I'm sitting here thinking of what to say and really I have nothing helpful :(

I'm just so sorry this happened.

Take your time deciding what to do.

I felt the same way when i read this. I had no idea what to say other than this is a damn shame. I am so sorry this happened to you and especially at your eparty.

Just think carefully and take a lot of time before you make a decesion. Is he willing to STOP drinking because obviously he has not control when hes drunk and he doesnt know when to stop.

Re: Hi ladies...

I have had a lot going on with work/house hunting and planning so I havent been on here as much. I am SOOO terribly sorry to see this happend you you :( I hope you are as okay as you can be right now! If you want to rant privately feel free to FM me.

I honestly believe that you have to do what is best for you and FH. I personally feel, that if he got like this when he drank, then he could do it again, and what if you aren't around? Scary thought!

On the other hand, if he is willing to do anything, like he says he will, he will not drink to that point again.

You know you guys the best, and you have been together long enough that you know what he is like and what he is capable of.

I am so sorry that you had to go through this!

Thinking of you and keeping you in my thoughts.
Carly
