That's so crazy. I love that the '08 board posters are so nice and everything is so supportive and drama-free. Go us!! I feel like I hardly ever even post on the BHB boards anymore.

I just got caught up real quickly... all I can say is... I have a headache. I'm definitely having one of those moment where people just annoy the sh!t out of me

I just read through the thread, and I can't believe how mean people are being. This girl did something she feels terrible about, and came to a place where she could be kind of anonymous and ask for objective advice, and people are attacking her. 'Pissing contest' is right - I can't believe how high and mighty some girls are being. Like everyone is so righteous and virtuous and that this girl should wear a scarlet letter. And now they're attacking her for posting in the first place, with comments like, 'I would never post anything personal like this.' Yikes!

(on a side note, I had my eyes peeled for '08 responses, and I have to say, I don't think any of us got on the Nastiness Train over there, and I'm very proud!! )

We're not nasty... nor are we judgemental. Am I out of line in saying that I think we have the best board?!

OMG tell me what the BHB is RIGHT NOW so I can read it! I'm dying to know what their saying but I have know idea what the BHB is.

BHB is the 'Brides Helping Brides' board.

My gosh!!! I feel really bad for her to begin with and then all the extra drama some people are giving her!! UGH!!! What pisses me off is the people saying that 21 is too young to be getting married. I know a lot of us 08'ers are young and i'm sure we'll all have successful marriages. She didn't kiss the other guy JUST BECAUSE SHE WAS 21!!!!

yeah...i chose not to reply...there awas just no need for the tirades...i feel like today is election day, I've heard enough BS speeches for one day and people on their high horse talking like Morel Orel...no pun intended...LOL

Although, things happen that's fine...its really no one else's business. I feel bad for her because she's young, but there's bound to be strong feelings on such a sensitive topic...

Dude, seriously. I made a comment or two on it (i admit ) BUT, I think some of these people are friggen judgemental!!!!! Who the hell are WE to tell this girl what she should do!

I was thinking about it today (sad, I know). But a lot of what I HATE about LIW is rooted in that thread. I like lighthearted stuff - like Jenn's sayings.

I noticed one comment you made, Bonnie, and it wasn't harsh or judgemental or at all. No need for the ! You were one of the 50% or so who were actually trying to help, as opposed to the other 50%, who were like, 'Oh my god, whore, I have a crystal ball and can see into my future and I swear on my mother's eyes that I would never never never ever even look at another guy! Confess to your man what you did, so he knows what a dirty skank you really are. Now excuse me, I'm up on this pedestal so high, I have to go find a ladder so I can climb down and get back to my real life.' (well, I'm paraphrasing, but you get the idea!)
