i'm thinking about st lucia @ the sandles resort
My brother and sister-in-law went there for part of their honeymoon and loved it!!!!! The resort is great...they just said that when you leave the resort the area is very poor. But you will enjoy Sandles.

We're either going on a cruise or to a Sandals resort.

Re: Honeymoon!!
We (or should I say I) am having difficulty picking a destination I'm torn b/w Sandals St. Lucia or Antigua (the new Mediteranean Village opening) or Riviera Maya. But I am concerned with the condition of the beaches in Mexico. I also like Aruba, but I have been told not to go there for a HM. I am basically doing all the research and then presenting it to him in spurts. I'm addicted to tripadvisor.com

Re: Honeymoon!!
I personally wanted to go to Tahiti or a South African Safari and then to like 4 days in Seychelles, but can't afford that so now that I have woke up for the second time today....We are thinking either St. Lucia, Antigua or Belize so far.

Re: Honeymoon!!
We're toying with Tahiti / Fiji and Disney right now!
Is it true that Oct is the rainy season for the caribbean ?? FH insists it is and hence why he doesnt' want to consider St. Lucia which was my #1!!!

Re: Honeymoon!!
This is another thing that changes everyday! right now we're hooked on the Grenadines - Petit St. Vincent.
The only thing on the island is 22 beach bungalows. No phones. You use a flag system to get the staff's attention. If you want room service you raise the yellow flag. If you raise the red flag no one will bother you. TOTAL seclusion.
We're all about that for the honeymoon, babayyyyyy (bow chicka bow wow!!!!!)

Re: Honeymoon!!
We are most likely going with Sandals too, but we were looking into Ocho Rios in Jamaica. You can get a suite with your own pool for under $4000! That would be for 7 nights. And it's all inclusive, how could you go wrong?

Re: Honeymoon!!
I personally love vacationing in the Caribbean. We arent sure if we are going to do another luxury resort on an island we havent been to yet, or if we will do Hawaii and then Vegas on the way back.
