HOODIA...

(For those of you who caught the '60 Minutes' episode on this amazing plant!!) ...

I started taking Hoodia (Vinny thinks I'm crazy) but hey- we all know that I am... Anywho, it works really well!! I am happy with my size, I know I'm a thin girl and all but I just want to be like extra thin for my wedding... I know that sounds wrong and all but I'm strange- I need to feel ultra thin to feel good about myself.

In any event, you take two of these vitamins a day (they are a plant condensed into a pill) and they are 100% natural and BYE BYE appetite. This helps me throughout the day so that I'm not STARVING and then I tend to 'over eat'. So, that is really what I'm safe-guarding against. I just eat so much b/c I allow myself, with my busy schedule, to become STARVING.

I still go to the gym like 3 times a week and do all of that but this will help curb that 'FEED ME' feeling I get so much!! LOL...

Just thought I would let you girls know-- it works fabulously!!!

Dani please be careful with that stuff!! I've heard nothing, but awful things about diet pills and how they speed up your heart rate and cause tons of problems.

BTW - you don't need to lose an ounce. You look beautiful just the way you are.

My friend uses hoodia and she also swears by it she lost about 10lbs on it....but i think if youre going to the gym 3x a week, i dont think you really need hoodia because all diet pills have side effects one way or another and unfortunately its usually that they cause liver damage. Hoodia is fairly new and no studies have been done on it yet ...so just be careful with it....

THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR THIS!!!!!!! I am REALLy struggling to loose, I've only lost like 3 lbs in almost 2 months, I am soooo discouraged, this slim fast diet is just making me nuts! I will run out and get this today!!!!!!

see but I never understood that cause arent you really supposed to eat like 5 meals a day (healthy meals) in order to speed u up to lose weight faster??? cause if you dont eat your body like shuts down and you store fat!

Yep-- that's how you are 'supposed' to do it.

But b/c I don't have time to eat good meals- I end up eating crap or something quick on the run. The other problem is that I don't eat a lot of 'good food' so it's hard for me b/c I don't have a wide variety of things I like.

So I end up eating like, cereal lol

But yeah-- as long as you eat little thigns here and there-- which I am still doing-- this just curbs my appetite to like GORGE myself on shiit LOL which is what I tend (personally) to do...

So, I have found myself able to just eat like a yogurt or some fruit rather than being STARVING and being like 'omg I want a burger'

Yeah, this is different than normal diet pills... I saw it on 60 minutes... if Leslie Stahl can do it- By God, so can I!! LOL

But this is all natural- if you look on the ingredients it says 'hoodia plant' and that is IT... with other diet pills they had caffeine and stuff in it- that would speed up your heart... This just, for some reason, makes your appetite go away. They don't even know why-- some tribe in africa found this plant and started to eat it and that is what they noticed-- so somehow, it filtered it's way to 60 minutes and they did a story on it!

And now, it's popular

I will definitely admit that I don't know much about it. I just get a ton of spam telling me that I can get Hoodia cheap. Anything that winds up in my spam box makes me wonder. Good luck with it though!!

Just because it says that its all natural doesnt mean it is....because its not approved by the FDA they can put on the ingredient label whatever they want b/c no body is checking it if theyre making false claims about the ingrdients contained in it...

True! Well, we'll see how it goes... I'm just looking to lose like 10 pounds and really TONE for the wedding so that I look like borderline anorexic LOL b/c FOR SOME REASON that is when I feel that I look good... Meanwhile, my Mom is like 'omg you are too thin' but I like it better that way-- odd!!!

this particular bottle said that it was approved by the FDA-- I went with the one that they did the story on 60 minutes about.

i do know there are a ton of other 'varities' that are not legit-- just people making them to try and make money-- but I went with the one that they did the story on and it says all that crap about the FDA on it...

I'm looking to lose like 10 pounds-- like you mentioned your friend did-- so we'll see!

Question - where did you buy it? Is it any specific name brand? The ones I have seen are hoodia WITH something else, never just hoodia alone. I need to lose 20-30 lbs so that my wedding gown FITS and I'm struggling with my second round of Weight Watchers.

I actually got it from my MIL's nutritionist... But she told me it is sold in normal stores like The Vitamin Shop or GNC. I will ask her more specifically though and post...

I know for sure it is not Hoodia with something else- this is 100% Hoodia. I will get the specific brand name for you... It is more expensive this way that is why you will find cheaper variations mixed with something else but it is worth the $$ to me b/c I don't want anything but natural... And you can check it out on your own by just reading the bottles in the store-- under ingredients it should just say 'hoodia' and that's it.

And BTW... I gotta say I'm sitting here in my office right now and when I'm normally STARVING and my stomach is killing me- Instead, I feel nothing. Which is GREAT!!!!
