Hoping for the best. . . .UPDATED!!!

I AM CANCER-FREE!!! I got my biopsy results today and they are benign!!!! the doctor and i are talking about doing a lumptectomy anyway to clear everything out, but as long as it's not cancer, i am happy.

thanks to all of you for your FM's, your posts and your thoughts, prayers and good wishes!!! it has meant so much to me and kept me calm throughout a nerve-wracking weekend. thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I don't usually post my personal issues on the site... but for those of you that are so inclined, I could really use some prayers right now.

A few weeks ago I found a lump in my breast. this week I had lots of tests done including a needle biopsy today. she has ruled out a cyst... and it could very well be cancer.... I have to wait until TUESDAY ( I never thought I wouldn't want a long weekend before!) for the results.

My mother had a very severe form of breast cancer so I am very nervous. I just can't believe it... My wedding is only 4 months away and I am only 29...

I am hoping for the best....
has anyone else around my age dealt with this?

I know my mother has had a bunch of cysts that were benign and my aunt is a breast cancer survivor (she had it 10 years ago).

I know what it is like to have a holiday weekend when hearing something like this. My FH had a sono done in December right before a long Christmas holiday weekend and the dr.'s told us they found something on his kidney. I hated being in supsense for so long. It turned out to be nothing. Thank God. But I do know what you mean when you say waiting this long. It stinks.

I will pray for you.

Maybe you should come to Irish fest in Long Beach tomorrow to pass some time. If you go look for me and the fam, we will be there.

my dr. just recently found a lump in my breast and i had to go for sonograms and stuff.. as of now they said it isn't suspicious.. I had to wait a WEEK AND A HALF for my results... I am so sorry this is happening to you... I will be praying extra hard..

I am very sorry that you are going through this. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I know there is really nothing we can say to take away what you are feeling right now, but you are not alone and you have an amazing support team.

It could be nothing and we will all pray it turns out to be nothing. There are so many new technologies these days and hope for the best.
