How many of you girls are moving into an apartment or already have a house after your wedding? I am moving into an apartment for right now to try and save more $$$

We bought a house in November of '05. When we got engaged (June '05) we knew we couldn't do both a house & a wedding the same year. We chose to buy a house first & pushed the wedding to '07. Now that we're all settled into the house the wedding is right around the corner !!!

We bought a co-op apartment about 1 1/2 years ago to help us save money and still invest in something instead of wasting on rent. We thought it was a good idea to start with this first.

FH and I both own houses. We ar selling ours individually and have just signed the contract for our new house (together). Our closing is in about a month!!

I've been living with FH for 5 years. WE currently live in a townhouse and will be looking ot buy a house after the wedding!!

We currently live in an apartment we will probably stay here for another year or 2 then start looking for a house. We decided this place is big enough for us and a baby (hopefully soon)!!!

We moved into a new apt together at the beginning of February. It's entirely too expensive down here in the DC area (studio condos no where near the metro regularly go for over $300k) to buy on our tiny government salaries, so we are actually ahead of the game by paying not too much in rent. But we will buy when we eventually come back to NY, though that will probably be to Upstate.

We got engaged, as we were house hunting. We bought our first house 3 weeks after. Moved in and everything.
PS: Buying a house is just as as planning a wedding. but it's worth everyminute.

We are living in the apartment in my grandparents house so we lucked out with how much we are paying monthly. My grandparents want us to be able to save and get a house- they are so generous!
