House or Condo

What do you think you'll buy. After the wedding we hope to be home owners. I am just not sure what type of home we'll buy

Yeah - we've been renters for about 5 years now and are really looking forward to owning something - not renting

I own an apartment now, but after we might move into one of my dads apartments, its still being renovated now. Not sure though, we were thinking of buying a house in LI but for now its easier for us to stay around this area bc of work

For now, I'd prefer to live in a condo. FH's job requires him to travel a lot and I'd rather let someone else worry about maintenance.

That's what I was thinking-- - - after the wedding & honeymoon - I'd like to find something nice but quick cause we want to start a fam. I teach so I am hoping to time maternity and summer just right (even though I know that probably wont happen ha ha ha ha)

I think a house -if you can afford it is a better investment..you don't have to worry about condo fees and assessments cuz it's all yours.

House, but not for about a year after we are married. A condo is too much like an apt and we've been there, done that, never again.

we bought a condo...its 3 BR 2 baths and its 3 floors and not in a building...so its close enough to a house for me (and cost as much too )....i hate to clean so anything bigger would stress me outt lol and its great that u dont have to do any of the outside maintenance and shoveling and all that stuff... im happY!:

starting with a condo or co-op at least two bedrooms and then upgrading to a house in hopefully 5 years or so.

we have a 3 bedroom house now....or should I say, FH has a three bedroom house that I live in. LOL

We'll be buying a different house together though, the summer after the wedding in North Carolina. CANT WAIT!!

We own a condo now and are looking to buy a house soon hopefully. But it really depends on what type of person you are if you don't like to do yard work its great cause you don't have to worry about any of that but its also like an apartment cause we have somebody below us and next to us.

I own a co-op right now., we want to buy a house but i have crazy restrictions on my place..so we will live there until we want children and until FH knows where he is going to work.

FH and I became homeowners here on the Island in January....we are renovating the entire thing and it will be done by the time we get married...or sooner!
