Ok seems alot of us are looking, and i had told some ppl i would send them listings of good deals...so i figured i'd make a thread and this way others can post great deals they have seen to help others out and who knows maybe we can actually help somebody find something. I'll post a few things i found, some i wont post bc i want it to stay on the market for just a little longer so i can try to get it lol...hopefully others will post too
since ive been looking at apartments ill post alot of those, but here is one home that is a good price for the area, i know where this home is and its very nice locatio...rest of the things i'll post will be less money since theyre apartments
I know, I really like it! FH grew up in nesconset and he wants to move back there
the house itself is great, but it's right off of a major road
see this is why its great to do this...lets say someone was interested now they know this info ahead of time and if thats not what they want then they wont waste their time looking

yea houses are definately cheap out east on li! its crazy! but that condo is really nice too!
yeah it is real nice...its RIGHT next to astoria park and theres a strip where everyone comes in the summer and parks there cars and hang out while others drive down to see who is there lol, thats the only problem
oh yea that stinks! theres one thing thats a must..privacy!!!
if you live on one of the top floors it wont be noisey since its a high rise BUT my favorite house is right across the street from this building...that one block is a bunch of beautiful old home theyre even marked as historical monuments, and i read up on it and early 1900's it was where rich ppl had summer homes bc its right on the water actually and you have a gorgeous view of the city, like the condo above it is directly on the water a few feet after is where the water starts so you do have an amazing view...but anyways that block is where the rich had homes many years ago and even al capone had a home there and a bunch of others, i dont know why but im fascinated by that block lol

I know, I will never buy a house without a redone kitchen and bathroom. Our apt now needs the kitchen and bathroom redone and i HATE it. My bathroom looks like a bumble bee blew up in it

yep! fh doesn't care..but that was something that would bother the heck out of me! for me they have to look brand new or very updated..theres nothing worse than an old outdated kitchen!

i know i absolutely LOVE the kitchen...in the description it says that the kitchen was remodeled recently and they spent 50k to remodel it and when they did it they weren't planning on selling at that time so they went all out
