Ok seems alot of us are looking, and i had told some ppl i would send them listings of good deals...so i figured i'd make a thread and this way others can post great deals they have seen to help others out and who knows maybe we can actually help somebody find something. I'll post a few things i found, some i wont post bc i want it to stay on the market for just a little longer so i can try to get it lol...hopefully others will post too

since ive been looking at apartments ill post alot of those, but here is one home that is a good price for the area, i know where this home is and its very nice locatio...rest of the things i'll post will be less money since theyre apartments

that's not a fish tank, that's a swimming pool

i would like to see pics of that, why wouldn't they put pics up of things like that...really makes no sense

its crazy what you can get in LI for those prices, crazy in a good way i meant. Im sitting here seeing 4 bedroom homes, big backyards and all under 500k and some under 400k

Sure : ) It's one of the five schools in the district I teach at....all of these towns here are relatively close.....Floral Park, New Hyde Park, Elmont, Franklin Square and Stewart Manor....each town is different though, even though so close.

I am! We have a basement under our apt owned by some guy who lives in the co-op somewhere and he won't let ANYONE in the basement. We had to run our cable wire under there when we first moved in and he would not let us, we had to run it upstairs and around the roof Anyway, I told Mike that the only likely reason is because there are women chained up in the basement.

awww that time will come dont worry...once you sell your co-op though its great bc you'll have money for a down payment instead of having to wait to save it so thats pretty good...you'll have your nice big home with a puppy in no time lol

unfortunately theyre not choices were gonna go for lol, in a few years...well the whole living in an apartment thing i dont mind at all and i do want that for us at first and it will help to clear all our debts to have low payments...Fh has been clearing his school loans and cc's now and he'll get there soon, his credit cards are almost all paid off now except one.

thats smart!! you don't want to be further in debt..thats one thing fh did we set a limit of what we could afford (we worked out all the math) and thats what were getting..we don't want something we can't afford..
