Are you taking out a loan, using credit cards, saving and paying as you go, are your family members helping you?

We're saving and paying as we go. My parents can only really afford to pay for my dress and then they offered to help with the Dj and favors. So FH and I are on our own. He works like 7 days a week and does alot of side work (hes in construction) so that's been helping out SO MUCH with deposits and other things that have come up along the way

We've had some help, we're paying ahead for as much as possible, there's some credit card use going on, definitely! We're also paying for a lot with our free time - DIY, BABY! You can fork over the cash for someone else to put together your stuff, or you can sit at home and do it.

my parents are paying for my hall, dress, all of the accesories, and possibly flowers..me and fh are paying the rest and hopefully his parents chip in!

We made payments along the way to all the vendors and the Reception hall, thank god we did, my husband was fighting me the entire length of the way about paying them early but in the end he said thank god I did that, otherwise I dont know how we would of done it. In the ending phase when all the money was due, we still owed so so much money, we put our honeymoon on a credit card and had to borrow some money from our home equity line of credit, we paid it all back with the money we got from our wedding. My mom is rather sick and my dad passed away, so my two brothers walked me down the aisle and acted as father of the bride. They both gave us amazing gifts, especially one of them, thank goodness for that, as that just made us be able to pay back almost everything we borrowed or put on CC My brothers are the best, Love them.......

we are saving and paying as we go. we r still using our credit cards both it is limited. My mother is helping also but what we cant do she will do

We are saving and paying as we go. Don't like the idea of having to pay using credit cards and then still have a bill hanging over our heads after the fact.

We are working our behinds off ...so far we are ok but it seems like we are going to have to use credit cards .....it stinks but we just might have too.....we are doing it all ourselves and it ends up being harder then we thought

we are saving and paying as we go. we are doing this by ourselves so we have been really penny pinching. we use credit whenever we can but unfortunately it doesnt seem like anyone takes cards these days!

We are saving & paying as we go - but we have ONE wedding only credit card. So few places take CC's anyway - so we're trying to use it very sparingly..

I'm fortunate enough to have some $$ saved, so I've put it into cd's and low risk funds so I can use it when it comes time to pay all the bills!

My parents are paying for the bulk of it. I started a fund and am trying to put away as much as I can until next September .... with all that we are saving for (house, retirement -- that sounds silly now but I really want to be prepared, bills, etc) it won't be much but I am trying to see what I can cut out and save on so that I can save more. Maybe I will put a little less into retirement for one year so that I can save more ....
And FH's family may be paying for a little, not really sure since the one time it was mentioned (by them, not me ... .never!) it was vague.

Dad is paying for everything...he is the best. He told me that when he found out he was having a girl that he started a wedding fund. He is the best!!! Now I just have to save for a house!!! Ughh

my FH and I are paying for it all............we started saving about a year b4 he proposed so we had a little cushion to start and the rest has been pay as we go.... from the looks of it now we just will make it to our 2 week before deadline to pay everyone off..... i just cant wait till its paid off and i can spend some money again !!!!!!!!!!!
i forgot to add.... mom and dad are paying for dress hair makeup shoes and all that stuff and hosting rehersal dinner!

family. my mom, my dad, my grandma all paying for it. I think my grandpa might be given a little too, along with my new stepdad. Fh is paying for honeymoon, I'm paying for extra things like a bridesmaid luncheon, etc. it's good not having to pay so I can do little extra things for everyone.
plus we get to splurge on extra things for ourselves like cool lights, a doc, live statue, etc.

We are paying as we go. My parents have 7 kids (6 girls!) so they really can't help much, they are giving us $2,500, (which I am totally thankful for!!!), but the rest will be what we can afford now, neither one of us wants to go into debt for the wedding.
We bought a house last March and that is enough debt for now!

we saved and paid as we went. No help from either family and we're also pretty young (I was 21 and he was 22 and just out of college). We didnt use credit cards or take out loans (IMO that only gets you into trouble). In the end, we made back everything we spent plus some.

My Dad is paying the whole thing. We only got engaged in January and I just had a baby so I wasn't working so there is no way we can pay for it ourselves. We're paying for the small things... wedding bands, gifts, rehearsal dinner, etc... but my awesome dad is handling the rest.
