We were walking at a beach we had never been to before at sunset. My FI said to me this just another wonderful memory for us, while I was busy taking in the amazing scenery he said, 'you know what would make this an even more perfect moment?' and I turned around and he was on his knee and he said 'will you marry me?'

We love to go camping upstate. It was the weekend before memorial day and we rented a house upstate. On saturday morning we went to Hanes Falls to hike. We always park at the top and hang out at the top before hiking. When we got to the top he said 'come here' toward the edge...and I looked toward the bottom and there was a HUGE sign which said 'Marry me Jen' I turned around and he was on 1 knee...I was shocked! Then we went hiking. When we got back to the house, there was rose petals all over the house and 2 dozen roses waiting for me!...It was always a topic of conversation and I was wondering when it was going to happen...We planned a memorial day party for the following weekend which was actually and e-party!

I'm a tax accountant. I always say April 15th is my favorite day because I'm DONE. April 14th I work like 15 hours usually to finish everything. I got home at 5 and he said we should go for a walk on our beach (our house is in a private community with a beach, you need an access card to get in) SO we walked down and we sat on the dock and I was looking at the sand and he wrote 'will you marry me' in the sand. I looked at him and he got down on one knee and asked me.

well my FH and I are really big rock n roll fans (there is a thread about how we met some where! ). So he called me one night and told me, buy a nice outfit, cos on dec 11th were going some where for our 2 and half year annversity....So of course I did. the night of in the car he tells me to close my eyes and were going east, well I peeked and we were not going east!

We ended up in NYC at Tarven on the Green! We had been there once before and I love it SOO much...So I was just thrilled to bits to be there, he wanted to take a carriage ride around Central Park, so we go and suddenly we stop at Strawberry Fields and he leads me out to the Imagine memorial for John Lennon..and it was SOOO perfect..there was two little candles there and a few flowers...and he just got down on his knee! My exact words were 'YES OF COURSE!' afterwards we had dinner at Tarven on the Green! SO AMAZING

My FH ask me if we can go to the city the day before Thanksgiving to see all of the Thanksgiving day balloons on display, little did I know he already had this planed. So we head into the city, it was a beautiful night the city was hopping and everybody was into the holiday spirit, and we walked around looking at all of the balloons, then he said lets take a walk through Central Park. When we started walking in the park he took out a Christmas present and said ''I got you an early Christmas present, a little something to show you how much I love you'.This is when I first started crying. I unwrapped the present and it was a box of candy-canes and on the candy-cane box was a ring box. I am still crying, then he starts crying and I didn't even open he box yet. When I open the box I realize it is an engagement ring and then he whispers in me ear 'will you marry me'. I couldn't even talk to say yes, all I could do was hug him, of cause I said 'yes' when I was able to speak and the rest is history.
