Fh and I usually take vacation every summer but I had an internship I couldn't take time off from last summer and when it was over, I was starting school rightr away the following Monday. So for the last weekend before school he said he booked a surprise weekend away, (Within driving distance) to celebrate the end of summer ILO a vacation..
So he took me to Oheka Castle for the weekend, had a private dinner set up, told me he was still saving for the ring and couldn't propose yet cause he wanted it to be perfect
And then proposed over dinner. He hid the ring in his camera bag (which was crafty cause I had been checking for bulges in his pockets and didn't see any, so I was convinced it wasn't happening).
The whole weekend was perfect and beautiful and amazing.

I still haven't got an official proposal yet!! I keep giving him the daily countdown each month....last night it was 'you only have 109 more days'. He knows he has to give me a 'real' proposal before the wedding or I'm going to kill him...so I'll let you know when it finally happens!

FH was messing with me all day. He told me he had to work that night, so he wanted to go out to dinner. He was acting all weird, so I really thought it was going to happen. No ring. Then he said, lets walk home on the beach. (we live on the beach, but never have walked home on it. So when we got to the beach I was like OMG, im getting engaged. No Ring. Then we got home and we were watching TV before he 'went to work' and he asked if I wanted frozen yogurt. I was like 'ok' and when he left, I got into my PJ's. Totally had it out of my head at that point b/c he was 'leaving for work' in a little while. He got home, and the ring was in the yogurt! (yes, I saw it before I started eating it!) So then I got re-dressed and we met up with everyone who was waiting at the bar to celebrate!!

I don't want to hijack the thread, but to answer your question I do mostly commercial work. I've started getting into some animation work as well.
I voice all the kids in the Jewish Cartoon series 'What If?' Chabad.org and also am the voice of Jimi in The Adventures of Shanmoa & Jimi.

Yes...we definitely did things differently! We have been dating for 6 years and living together for a year. Last summer we just started discussing getting married and had planned to do it on vacation this summer but plans changed and we started booking and planning pre-ring. I now have the ring, but no formal proposal yet. Maybe because it is both of our second marriages he thought it wasn't really necessary...but I keep reminding him that it is!

FUNNY STORY..... This is my first christmas away from home.....and ive always had a real christmas tree. The night of December 5th it was POURING and he said lets get the christmas tree. I shouldve known somehting was up then. Well neway, we left it in his parents basement to dry for the night and at literally liek 8 am on the next morning (sunday) he woke me up and said lets put the tree up. I was like what its 8am lets sleep for antoher hour. So he brings the tree up and was acting weird. He gave me a big hug and told me how much he loved me. Now the whole time his hand was in his pants (which actually wasn't that weird bc he has his hands in his pants all the time, haha) Then he started fidgeting in his pants, i was like what the hell is he doing?? He gives me another big hug and says lets put the first ornament on the tree.... he pulls out the engagement ring and it was hanging from an ornament hook. All i could say was 'are you serious'???? bc hes a big joker. he was now down on one knee and i kept saying....'are you serious?'' And he tore his acl a month prior to that so it was difficult for him to go down on one knee and said 'can u just give me an answer, IM SERIOUS.....this kinda hurts.' So i finally said yes and started crying and of course his mom was listening at the door and came in.
The reason why he was figeting in his pants was bc the hook got stuck and he couldn't get it out, so literally for 5 minutes his hand was figeitng in his pants, it was funny.
the ironic thing is that my parents got engaged in front of thier christmas tree too and my fh didn't even know that

Congrats! That's awesome!!! Did you know you were getting engaged (e.g., know he had a ring, picked out a ring, etc.) or was it a complete shock? If it was me I think I would've fainted!

FH planned a day out east for my birthday - vineyard hopping on the north fork. It was a beautiful day together, and finally it didn't rain! On our drive back home FH decided he was 'craving steamers' so off to Nicky's on the Bay we went. We arrived there to see my family, including my sister and niece from North Carolina to celebrate my birthday with us. In the middle of dinner, FH toasted to my birthday, and then asked my parents for my hand in marriage. With their whole hearted blessings, he got down on one knee and proposed. Of course, I said yes!
But I have to say the funniest thing... as we were all in happy excitement... my 6 year old nephew said... 'I thought they were already married!'
