How did you ask your Bridal party?

Original post by NapaValleyGirl

Gosh, I'm starting to get addicted to this site! All of you have been so helpful!!

OK, question. I wanted a cute way to ask my girls to be a part of my Bridal party. I was thinking of inviting them to a brunch (there is a great brunch in the city that costs only 16 dollars per person and has unlimited mimosa's and bloody marys!) and maybe giving them each a little 'will you be my bridesmaid?' card.

Can anyone tell me the special way you asked your BP? AND does anyone know where to find those bridal party cards other than the internet?

Thanks all!!!

I gave each BM a goodie bag at my E party.
Each bag had a “will you be my bridesmaid” cookie in it
There are more pics in my album

Those are the cutest things I've ever seen. I love it. I may have to steal the idea!!!!

Thanks!!

I bought them each a Bridesmaid book and wrote a personalized note to each one in the cover about how much they mean to me. I also gave them each a picture of us from when we were younger.

Have to try that brunch!

I made cards personalized for all of them and took them to dinner - at dinner I gave them the cards.

You have to try the Essex brunch and definitely make a reservation! The last time I was there, Claire Danes sat next to me! Not only is the brunch inexpensive, but it's so yummy! It has very 'different' brunch dishes like a lobster eggs benedict and a mexican matzo omlette! Check it out!!

Re: How did you ask your Bridal party?

I sent out an invitation to all my girls and had them over for bunch I had fruit, pastries, bagels...
Then when they were all there I had a gift bag for each one of them with a card.
The cards I made myself because I couldn't find anything I liked and I just wrote why I was asking each one, what they meant to me and how important they have been in my life.
I also gave them a little bridesmaid frame that I got from Fortunoff. They are SO cute and were only $10.00 each.
I gave the flower girl a frame and a book on what it means to be a flowergirl that I found at Barnes and Nobels.

I originally wanted to have a brunch for my girls but originally i had 3 OOT BM (2 landed up dropping out) so I figured it would be hard to get them all together so as I saw them I asked them...with a special card that i made and gave each one a photo album...

except my MOH I took her out for lunch and then gave her the card and the photo album... the time I asked her it was around her birthday so she thought I was taking her out for her birthday!
