We wanted June but they were all booked u and so was August. We had an issue with August because my best friends wedding is August 18, 2007 and so we had to have it before giving us enough time to have a honeymoon because if we had it after theirs, they couldnt have one. We wanted Friday but they were ALL booked so we settled for Sunday morning which was even cheaper.

We picked 6/10/06 because:
1) I'd always wanted a June wedding
2) Spring is my favorite season, so that left 3 weekends open
3) I insisted on a Saturday, so that left 3 dates open
4) I didn't want to do it on the first Saturday bc it was one of my BMs b-day, so that left 2 dates open.
5) I counted a year and a half in advance to figure out when I'd be menstruating and if we'd gotten married on the last weekend I would've gotten it on our HM.
So June 10 it was!!!!! Besides, I love how 6/10/06 looks!!

Well now I'm getting ready to graduate from college and from September '07-May '09 I'll be in grad school so that determined the year. FH's mom is a teacher so that takes us to July. July is already packed full of anniversaries so here we go into August and the beginning of August is still kind of hot so the later the better without getting into school starting again. Hence, 8/22/09.
Plus our anniversary is 4/8 so we already have the 8 and the 2's add up to 4. I know I'm weird but I think it's cool.

I wanted a spring wedding but I didnt want to go into June because sometimes prices go up and things become hard to book. so I got as close as I could!
We had an idea of which month we wanted to get married in and which day so we just went with the reception hall/church's availability.
we wanted to get married in the fall. the summer was too hot and the spring it rains. we picked the hall first, they had 3 Saturdays and then picked the church, and matched the dates.
