How did you choose your wedding date?

I wanted November or February but FH's parents vetoed both. In order to stay within the discount months, we picked April. Had to do a Sunday night (Jewish customs + money) so that narrowed it down. The 24th (last Sunday) is Passover so that was out. A friend of a friend is getting married out of state the weekend of the 10th and I didn't want to lose a bunch of people so that was out. And, my sister lives in GA and her kids are off the week between the 3rd and the 10th so that made the final decision between the 3rd and the 17th.

Whew! Essentially, process of elimination.

I wanted to get married maried in a colder month..plus it can be cheaper. I also wanted a Friday night wedding. We chose Thanksgiving weekend becasue it was a long weekend and our OOT guests and family could have more time to spend with us. Also my sister and his sister are teachers so this way they will have some time off as well.

I wanted a spring wedding, and we chose the last day of April.

I'm getting married on June 4th 2006. That was my only brother's birthday who passed away a few years ago. Just a way to remember him.

We were originally September but my boss has a loft in Brooklyn and he said I could use it free of charge pretty much but it was only available for December so he we are hoping there wont be a snow storm that week.

honestly, i have no idea how we got to our date. all i know is i wanted a june wedding, next thing i know we're signing a contract and im getting married on labor day. (sep 5) go figure. but its still a good time weather wise so thats all i care about!

we wanted to get married in october, but after seeing how much money we could save by having our wedding the first weekend in november, it was a no brainer for us. We just liked the fall, so to change months didn't matter to us.
