We originally got married 04/2007 and we just prefer to keep it in the same month. I picked a Sunday because its a whole lot CHEAPER than a Saturday & 2012 will make our 5th wedding Anniversary.....
How did you pick your Month, Date...etc?

We really had no choice we wanted a Saturday in the Fall. We booked about 10 months ago and it was the only date available at the place we really liked. If you book far enough in advance you should have a lot of dates to choose from.

I knew i wanted it in the summer... i picked mid july because its the time of year that my oot family usually comes in... and i have a few family and friends married in july and the 16 was the only weekend i wouldnt have to share my wedding day with anyone else..

We knew that we didnt want it in the winter or in the summer (too cold or too hot). I always like Sept so we picked that. We knew we wanted a daytime Saturday wedding so we went through the weekends. The first weekend was my moms b'day, the second was 9/11 so we went with the 18th

My fiancé and I originally wanted to get married on August 14, 2010 because we started dating April 14, 2003 and he asked me to marry him on Aug 14, 2006 so we wanted to keep our lucky number 14. But my fiancé family is coming from Portugal and the best month for them to come is in July and we really wanted them to be there so we made are date for July 17, 2010.

We actually chose our date because I was in the 'off' wedding season and FH had a break from school (he's a teacher).

I had always wanted a spring wedding (ideally March), but FH only gets vacation from May-Sept, so we picked the 1st available Saturday in May.

We wanted December 2009 or March 2010. We preferred sooner, just because FH is 41 and we want to move on with our lives and not be waiting.
We wanted 12/5 as our date (so we could have a 2 week honeymoon and still be home for Christmas), but fell in love with the Estate at East Wind and it wasn't available on 12/5. So we have 12/12 and are away for Christmas, but we will be in an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora, so I think we'll deal!

I actually wanted a wedding on May 1st, our 5 year anniversary. BUT our 'friend' got engaged two weeks after us and booked the wedding right away for April 21st, 2010 (24th? One of those days) even though they both knew we were aiming for May 1st. So we bumped it up 2 weeks.

I am a teacher so we knew we wanted a Saturday wedding in July. We didnt have a particular date in mind. I knew any Saturday would work, but I didnt want 4th of July weekend. July 31st was the first date the priest gave us so we decided on that date.

i love the fall and i love the winter. so i combined the two. im doing a wedding in the fall with a winter theme!!
sunday was never an option for us... we are just party people and big drinkers.. so it was either sat or fri. ideal would have been sat... but realistically fri was just better on our wallet. still expensive wedding but i saved thousands by not having sat.

January 14th was our anniversary and we wanted to keep it as close to that as possible, so we took the 16th because it was a Saturday, and I've always wanted a Saturday night wedding. It was also convenient because it's a holiday weekend. January is also a lot cheaper, and many significant things have happened for us over the years in January.

We knew we wanted a winter wedding. December is out because of exams, birthdays, Hannukah and Christmas (booked solid from the 15 to teh 25th.)
February you run into Valentines day, and price of flowers sky rockets. March, getting to close to spring, so for us January was teh month to look at. All of my family is in Florida, so we had to find a time that worked for them to get up without running into to many problems with having to take time off from work. So we looked into the sunday of MLK weekend. We booked early, so we had our choice of dates and halls. So we are 1/17/10

I orginally wanted a summer wedding (definitely knew I wanted a Saturday). Learned quickly that was too expensive both for us and our OOT (FI has a lot of family flying in from England and Ireland and the airfare is ridiculous! So we bumped it up to a Spring wedding. Something about the 7th of May just kept repeating itself in my head so we found a place, they obviously had it available (booked 18 months in advance) and presto, we got ourselves a wedding date.

FH & I met on June 22nd & since I love June but didn't want it to be too hot I chose June 2nd so we still had June & # 2 there..plus I have an undying love for Derek Jeter since I was 11 so ya know..haha

It was the only date in early October that our church,reception hall and photographer had free since we changed our date.
