Re: How did you know UR Gown was the GOWN?
I had a hard time deciding between 2 gowns that I really liked. I think I was confused because I was trying so many on at once. So we went back another day and I just tried on the 2 finalists, and when the woman put the veil and tiara on with my dress, my mom burst into tears. So that made me lean towards it. But then just putting on both gowns, I realize I just liked mine better. It was different. It wasn't what I thought I would get, but I just fell in love with it!

Re: How did you know UR Gown was the GOWN?
I tried on a ton of dresses in several stores. I knew after trying some on that I wanted to go with a ballgown because the style looked best on me. I had a couple that I really liked, but didn't get that real 'feeling' from them. Then I went to RK Bridal and tried on a few others. The person helping me brought out my dress- I originally didn't think I'd like it when it was on the hanger, but when I put it on, I was shocked- I did get a little teary about it and felt that it was the one I was going to buy. I was still a but gun shy about buying it, though- although I felt differently about that one than the others I tried on, I did expect more 'fireworks' when I saw 'the dress' on me. So I loked at a couple more, but always compared it to the one at RK. I went back, tried it on, and knew it was the one. I love it!
Good luck!

Re: How did you know UR Gown was the GOWN?
I tried on so many gowns and my problem was i found too many gowns that I liked,... it went from 2 possibilities to 4 possibilites, then i would take some away & add others haha. But in the end there were 2 gowns that I was debating between but leaning towards one. Then when I went back to try it on... I knew that that was the gown I wanted. I didn't cry, or get all emotional. I'm not like that. But i really loved how I felt in it and I had no reservations about it. It was exactly what i wanted. Don't be afraid to not be very traditional... just get what you want and what you feel best in. I'm sure any gown that we will look back in 10 yrs will look somewhat weird. And do you really think you will care 10 yrs after your wedding what you looked like??? Probably not.. hehe.

I only tried on 3 gowns, and the first one I tried on, was the one I got. I fell inlove with it the minute it was on, and quite frankly I didn't want to try on more dresses, but my mom was like, just try em on and see. Needless to say when the tiara and veil were on, it was complete and so was I with my choice. Mommy and I had a moment, and that was it!! I totally new.
