how do you do an x-post?

i've seen girls do something called an x-post where they take their post from one board and post it on another. how is this done?

p.s. i feel like an idiot still asking questions about posting and i've been a member since LAST july

Copy and paste the message from one posting to the other one and then in the subject just write x-post.

Atleast that's how I do it lol
