Ok so yesterday i was surprised...at dinner don't remember what we were talking about but FH said 'oh you'll probably get pregnant during the HM' i said ha lets not plan anything, dont you want to wait? and he said no i wouldn't mind having a honeymoon baby. Now let me just say that we discussed this before and we both just agreed to not plan for anything. I said after 2 years we'll try, hes like thats long, maybe by 2009 to already be pregnant and if anything by the 2nd year have it...He also then said hey i wouldn't care if we had one now . I didn't even know what to say.
I want kids badly but i also thought we should wait a little bit lol. Who knew he had the itch
Oh and then he also told me i have to get pregnant May 29 2010 or 2011 i forgot so this way we have have a leap year baby lol...so on top of that im supposed to be popping one out after another
ETA: the part about him not caring if we had one now was just to show he really is ready and doesn't want to wait too long AFTER the wedding, no real intentions to have a kid now or him wanting to try for one before the wedding and i wont even consider it lol

If I were to tell Fh right now I was pregnant I think hes love every econd of it !! he loves the boys so much and cant wait for a baby ...hopefully we have one !!

I prefer to wait on kids....
We dont even know for sure if they are in our future, but i respect wanting to wait a bit and enjoy some newlywed time...

he got it all planned out!!!
fh and i have been together for 8 years and 9 years on our wedding day so we are both ready to have kids. he actually wants five! i told him, if he survives one, i'll give him another one!

yeah he said by the 2nd year he def wants one, which i am fine with and what i was planning on. But its not even like to start trying the 2nd year, its to have one by the 2nd year lol...exactly i want to enjoy the newlywed life

i definitely would like to wait a year or two after the wedding... The next major thing after the wedding will be a house and I definitely don't want kids without having a house first. I have the itch bad, but we both think for us, it's a good idea to wait a little while!
But just a side note, Fh never wanted children... and I love children. After dating and him seeing how I am with them, he said, 'how could I deprive you of a child, you are so good with them'. I thought that was the sweetest thing!!!

FH Has said that he would be okay if we got prego now, but obviously that wouldnt be a planned thing because we want to be married first. FH and I want to have kids as soon as possible but we are going to wait a year til i get tenure and at least my job is secure.
FH and I cant wait to have kids... we wish we could have them now!

thats similar to us. we will be together 9 yrs by the time we are married. I dont really want to wait much longer.. we will already be 29 when we get married.
but FH says he only wants 2.. id like 3.. but that may all change once we have kids he may want another

awwww that is sweet that he said that.
I do notice Fh noticing kids alot more. He said he didn't pay attention to them as much as he does now, he always like them but it was different. Now he sees kids on the street and hes always saying hi to them and waving and being all nice, or always looks at kids and says how adorable they are

It's funny, because a year ago, if I asked FH about kids he would've passed out as fast as if I asked about marriage. Here we are, engaged...and talking about kids. He's ready when I am (which I need because I am older).....I don't want a HM baby......I want one solid year of newlywed-ness and then a one-year anniversary vacation baby! If all goes planned....

FH wants one yesterday!!!! LOL. We talked about it but I really want to wait and travel a little more. I think he says it because all of his freinds have kids and he feels left out. But at the same time his friends leave all the work to their wives and I know I would end up doing 80% of the work. I dont want that at all!

its true, it hink me needing 1 year because of work is the best thing because we will have that time to enjoy just being married.
Its cute when FH notices kids, Since working in a school and talking about having kids, he def is more aware pointing out cute kids doing cute things.

yeah, my FH too. He had never held a baby before we started dating, now, whenever children are around, the mommy's are always making him hold them!!! 'Here Joe, you need the practice', lol. It was so awkward at first but now he is a pro.
Don't your eyes light up when you see FH look at a child adoringly? (if that is even a word, lol)
