Ok so yesterday i was surprised...at dinner don't remember what we were talking about but FH said 'oh you'll probably get pregnant during the HM' i said ha lets not plan anything, dont you want to wait? and he said no i wouldn't mind having a honeymoon baby. Now let me just say that we discussed this before and we both just agreed to not plan for anything. I said after 2 years we'll try, hes like thats long, maybe by 2009 to already be pregnant and if anything by the 2nd year have it...He also then said hey i wouldn't care if we had one now . I didn't even know what to say.
I want kids badly but i also thought we should wait a little bit lol. Who knew he had the itch
Oh and then he also told me i have to get pregnant May 29 2010 or 2011 i forgot so this way we have have a leap year baby lol...so on top of that im supposed to be popping one out after another
ETA: the part about him not caring if we had one now was just to show he really is ready and doesn't want to wait too long AFTER the wedding, no real intentions to have a kid now or him wanting to try for one before the wedding and i wont even consider it lol

and he turned 25 and did the math and he feels that he wont be able to be a great grandfather if we dont act soon..lol

im 22..but before i was 18 i had been to 5 continents and almost 35 countries and always wanted to be a young mom..i want to be a great grandmother and have 3 generations under me
i di dthe whole party thing and its stupid and got old real quick ive been in my career for 3 years already and am moving up in my company and have my head on straight..its the next step for me to take

We've talked about having kids extensively. I think FH is very undecided about this. First he says he wants to be done having kids by 30 so that he can be a young father and enjoy them and all that. He'll be 27 next month. So thats obviously not happening cause we want to have 2 or 3 kids.
But lately its been leaning more towards waiting a couple of years so we can enjoy being married and travel and do all the things you cant necessarilly do when you first have kids. Im actually more in favor of this option since im still pretty young.
So....I dont know, we'll see how it all plays out I guess.

i'm late posting in here..fh wants a kid PRONTO.. and i am trying my hardest to NOT get pregnant before december at the earliest.. i've actually got my fingers crossed right now that i'm not after a small slip up while on vacation (darn open bar at the beach..).. but if by chance i am.. i'm marchign on down that aisle..with a 6 months pregnant belly and all.. in a white dress.. with my first born out of wedlock child as a flower girl..... and i DARE someone say ANYTHING!

I think FH is itching to have kids bc he is 31 already and has the silly notion that if he waits too long...he will be an 'old dad'. HE IS ONLY 31! ( well 32 by our wedding). Personlly, I wouldnt mind trying within the first year...or two. We have both travelled and enjoyed ourselves when we were single do I dont think we would feel like we missed out. The only place I want to go to is Italy...maybe we should book a trip to Italy for a vacation after we are married and try there!
omg, denise aunt janie would be in her GLORY if you guys had a baby right away!!!! I can just see her reaction!
ps...it is definately scary ( in a good way) that we are getting married and talking about kids...especially since I have known joe all of my life!

FH is definitely in the minority here but he really doesn't care about having kids. I honestly think that if i told him tomorrow that i never wanted to have kids he would be okay with it. On the other hand, he would be happy to start a family with me. . .
i dont know if this makes sense. But we have seriously discussed never having kids and we are kind of okay with that but we also want a family LOL i guess we are just going to try and leave it in God's hands and whatever He decides we will be thankful.
We are just so horrified with how kids behave today that it makes us not want to have to deal with it but then again we know that our own kids would never be like that.
These are exactly the same feelings that we share at the moment when it comes to kids...only time will tell I guess
