So, just how far along is everyone in their planning? I'm just about at the year mark, and the plans have come to a complete halt. Eeek! I have lost my motivation. I haven't lost the desire to get married at all, I'm just so sick of calling and visiting vendors! Am I reeeaaally far behind? So far I have The church the hall photo/video
What else is there? I feel like most of the major things are done, but then I read everything that everyone here is doing, and I feel lost. Is it too soon to pick out BM dresses? Should I wait till I pick my dress to pick theirs? I don't want to order my dress for another few months. Also, would a florist think I was crazy making an appointment a year in advance? When should I consider invitations and favors seriously? I mean, I have an idea of what I want, but I should wait a few months, right? Another thing, has anyone found a DJ that they love who is reasonable? Sorry for all of the questions, I just feel like I'm missing a lot of stuff, and I really need to get moving.

We're getting married on May 16 and we have: Reception hall Church Limos Photo Video My dress, tiara and veils DJ
Still have to do: BM dresses (will do this in August) Register (will also do this in Aug) BM and GM gifts Greek Band (we may get one, not 100% sure yet) Flowers (will do this in Aug) Invites Tuxes Parent gifts Book makeup/hair (Have Jen from fairytale holding my date though)
I think that's it. DAMN!! Now I feel like I have soooo much left to do!!

Someday, you are getting married the same day as me! I have my church, reception, photographer, video and band, and favors so far. If you are looking for a band, I would book soon, because when I was looking back in January, a lot of them were already booked. I have my dress (didnt officially order it yet, but have a deposit down). They told me to order at least 10 months in advance in case there is a problem and I need to send it back for any reason. I am going for BM dresses soon, and I am going to a florist soon. I think limos can wait. Good luck in your planning! BTW, where is the reception?

We're getting married on April 17 and here's what we have so far:
Reception hall Church Photo Video My dress DJ Florist BM dresses (we picked them, but haven't ordered yet) Started to register
Still have to do:
Limos Honeymoon Wedding bands tiara, veil, shoes BM and GM gifts Invites Tuxes makeup/hair Favors I'm sure there's more I'm not thinking of...

I'm at a halt too.. I lost ALL motivation.... and I have less then a year....
argh... i need to get motivated and excited about this...
