How far in advance are you / did you send out your invitations?
I see some girls on here who are sending them out 3 1/2 months out! Not that there is anything wrong with that, but its making me freak out - I planned on sending them out about 9 weeks in advance (First couple days of September). . . .
Just wondering if I'm about average or if I'm sending them too late!

I plan on sending mine out towards the end f August. I think the beginning of Sept is enough time as well

I sent mine out the end of may and my RSVP date was the end of june and im glad i did it early because i had to track people down

I mailed mine today. RSVP date is 1 month from today and wedding is 2 months from today.

I sent mine 10 weeks ( july 1st) , i don't think it is necessary to send it out earlier then 8-12 weeks

we sent ours out about 10 weeks before the wedding. we did it so early because we wanted to beat the christmas rush, and our RSVP date was a month before the wedding.

9 months is more than fine, dont freak out and just go with what you had planned.
I sent out mine a little less than 8 weeks before the wedding and one thing ill say is that i had quicker responses than many who sent out more in advance than i did...within 2 weeks i had 200 ppl reply

Coleen, you are fine with your plan. My rsvp is 4 weeks b4 wedding date, and I plan on sending them 8/1 just b/c they are already done and I want them out out out out of my apartment.

I plan on sending mine out the last week in August or first week in September since I am getting married on the holiday weekend.

Im sending mine out around July 15. It will be about 11-12 weeks in advance. I'm getting married on a holiday weekend, so I want to give it an extra week or two.

I'm sending mine out next week, so that guests receive them by the 2 month mark. I also freaked out when I saw how early some girls send out their invites, but I think that 2 months before is the standard.

I sent mine out a little before my three-month mark- I was concerned because I am getting married on a holiday weekend and did not send stds.
If I had been getting married on a regular weekend, I would have sent them about 2 months before my date. hth

I think the standard is 2 months... if you want to send out a few weeks early to be safe, that's fine, but any more than 12 weeks ahead of time is too early in my opinion

I am sending mine out 3 months before, just because I like to do things early and also because I may send my family's out first, then FH's family due to a large guest list (hoping for no's!).

me too that is the only reason why I sent them early...I did not want to feel more pressure...

Hey If you have a lot of OOT guests then you need to base it on that We had a lot and we mailed ours out the Mid of April....RSVP end of May and we are getting married this Fri Even with an earlier RSVP date....we had about 50 missing so you need that time to chase down those winners!
