How far in advance are you / did you send out your invitations?

I see some girls on here who are sending them out 3 1/2 months out! Not that there is anything wrong with that, but its making me freak out - I planned on sending them out about 9 weeks in advance (First couple days of September). . . .

Just wondering if I'm about average or if I'm sending them too late!

I sent mine out two months before due date, which I made to be June 1st, almost two months before the wedding so I could force everyone to respond by my own due date. People kept changing and responding up until last week.

we mailed 3 months in advance, and rsvp date is 1 month in advance.

we're a sunday afternoon in Aug with lots of OOTers (some who didn't get STDs) so we wanted to make sure people had enough notice.

usually 6-8 weeks..I sent mine out on June 7th

My wedding is the weekend before yours, and I'm sending them out on Sept 2, which will be exactly 2 months before. So I think you're perfectly on time!

I got an invite to a wedding 5 days before the RSVP is due.

I don't think they want me to come lol!

I don't want a lot of my guests to come ( I know that sounds bad, but my parents invited the entire neighborhood)

Anyway, I'm doing mine 2 months before. With RSVP date 1 month before.

and for the people I don't like ...

Maybe I send after the RSVP date ... hmm..
