How long before your wedding is your dress coming in?
Here I sit with 61 days until the wedding and my dress still isnt in yet .. I don't know if its too early to be worried... I have been in touch with the woman at the salon that I ordered my gown and they should have an answer soon as to when its coming in...

umm ... I would get on their case.. you still need to alter the dress, which should be done at least 2-3 months in advance (for the 1st fiting), jmo

Thats what Im worried about.. the MOB dress and all of the BM dresses are in....

don't stress it will come soon... they leave 2 months incase you need A LOT of alterations so if you don't the you'll be fine!

Hey...you'r one day behing me... Yes...my dress came in ... but my first true fitting is Feb. 26th...I think you have plenty of time. I would still get on the salons case though... GL!

I ordered mine in April 08 and got mine in September....I would definitely call to see what is going on with your dress

I went with my mom for her first fitting last week and when I got there they said oh btw your BM dresses came in.. and they are still waiting to hear on my dress...

I ordered mine last July and it wont be in until April. Wasn't going to come in until May but I said my wedding was a month earlier to get it a month earlier.

It depends on how the bridal store runs. Where I got my dress, orders were placed according to the wedding date, not actually the date you ordered. Don't worry, you will most likely NOT need 2-3 months worth of fittings. My wedding was August 1, had my first fitting sometime around July 5/6, and only had 1 more after that, the week before the wedding and everything worked out perfectly. Try not to stress about it.

ordered mine end of july and it came in beginning of january. went to visit this weekend but actual first fitting wont start until march

DONT WORRY and yes they do alterations in less than 2-3 months. Infact alterations they do only 6-8 weeks before the wedding, even if the dress comes in sooner.
My dress came in middle of march and wedding was middle of may. But i didnt start alterations until beginning of APril bc of my schedule at that time i couldnt fit it in, whenever i called them and had available then they didnt and vice versa.
It was all done perfectly well in that time and got it all done. Infact most of the work was done 2 weeks before my wedding, since the first dress fitting i was on crunches, they couldnt measure the bottom part and i had to wait so they only did top part first. After 2 weeks i finally was able to go in and check the bottom. Well the dress was too long and they had to shorten it BUT the bottom of my dress had beading all along the bottom part, so they had to remove ALL the beading, hem the dress and then place all the beading back and it was done in time.

my salon told me that mine won't be in until 6-8 weeks before the wedding... i feel like a lot of girls on here get theirs way too soon
