How long did you date your Fiance b4 he Proposed?

How long did you know him?

I dated him for 2.5 years, knew him for 2.6 years total. =)

Some of my late 20's friends are beginning to pressure their bfs for a ring after only a few months!

We were together for 5 years 2 months and 1 day befor we got engaged (not like I was counting or anything)

2 years.
He proposed on our 2 year anniversary 07/05

We started dating about 3 weeks after we met.

Then he popped the question 4 months and 2 days after that!!

We were dating about 7 years before he proposed. We will be together 8 1/2 years by the time we get married.

omg this is a little embarassing

we were together 8 years when he proposed - we started dating when we were 15 - and we will be on our honeymoon for our tenth anniversary. . .

and i still had no idea that he would propose - whenever i brought it up he insisted it would be closer to our tenth anniversary - probably because i am so nosy if I had any clue I would have investigating!

we dated for a little over 4 years b4 he proposed.


Same here-though we have known eachother for 9 years now.

Didn't waste any time.... we're old!


Same thing with us but we got married 10 months after the engagement..

We met on 7/10/05 and got engaged 6/1/06.
We will be getting married in 2008

We had our first date on 06/25/03 and we were engaged on 12/18/04...we're getting married 10/07/06

3 years and 4 months (about). We'll be together 5.5 years by the time the wedding rolls around.

Also 7 years here and got married the day before our 8 year anniversary!!

We were dating for 18 and a half months.

Our 3 year dating anniversary was this past May 29th.

But....we moved into together 3 months after we met, so we had been living together for over two years when we got married.

Another older couple here.

My husband made an unofficial proposal after 5 months of dating. After 9 months of dating (and after asking my parents if he could marry me) he made the 'official' proposal with the ring.

We dated for 15 months, knew each other for about 16 months.
