How long did you know him?

I dated him for 2.5 years, knew him for 2.6 years total. =)

Some of my late 20's friends are beginning to pressure their bfs for a ring after only a few months!

We were together almost 3 years. He proposed at my 21st b-day party.

9 MONTHS 3 weeks

My parents (who will be married 35 years this year) got married after KNOWING each other for five months!

We had been dating 2 years and 10 months before he proposed but we'll hae been together 4 days shy of 5 years by the time the wedding rolls around.

Hmmm.... He asked me to move in after like 6 months, actually moved in after 9 months, we got engaged at about 15 months (he wanted to ask on April 15th, tax day, since I'm a tax accountant )

According to him we met in Summer 2003. I have absolutely no recollection of being introduced to him.

As far as I'm concerned we met November 2004. Started dating January 28, 2005, popped the question April 1, 2005.

So, dating 2 months, 2 days!

Edit to add:
Even if he's right and we met in Summer 2003 - it was merely a polite introduction, and I never laid eyes on him again until November 2004.
