How long did you date your Fiance b4 he Proposed?

How long did you know him?

I dated him for 2.5 years, knew him for 2.6 years total. =)

Some of my late 20's friends are beginning to pressure their bfs for a ring after only a few months!

it was on our 1 1/2 anniversary when we decided to get married. he proposed 2 months later.

dated 7 years and 3 months before he proposed
together 8.5 years when we married...
in September we will be together for 12 years!

I moved in with him after 5 months of dating (march 2 2003). He proposed to me probally 7 months into our relationship. But there was no ring involed. We were sitting on the couch watching tv and talking and he came out of nowhere and said would you marry me. I thought he was joking but he said I know we don't have the money but one day. So September 11 2003 we went looking for engagement rings and put one on layaway. He officially proposed November 30 2004. As a early Christamas present. Then we got married October 2 2005

He proposed on our 5 year anniversary. I was only 18 when we started dating.

I first met my FH about 15 years ago...he covered one shift at the hospital I was working for at the time. Then we didn't meet again for another 4 years after that. We continued to work together and became friends for about a year after that. We will be officially together for 9 years this August and have been pretty much living together that whole time (except for the time I was away in school). We have been engaged for 2 years now.

11 MONTHS. WE MOVED IN TOGETHER AFTER BUYING OUR HOME IN 7MONTHS THAT WE WERE DATING. ITS NOW ONE YEAR AND A MONTH SINCE WE ARE TOGETHER. AND I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM. I WOULDN;T CHANGE A THING

We dated for 5 years, but we were 19 when we started dating so we definitely weren't ready back then!

Then had a 1.4 year engagement.

I have know him for about......12 years, we were best friends for about 5 years, we dated about 1 year before he proposed and we planned our wedding in about 10 months!!!!

We dated for 1 year 1 month and 25 days before he proposed (on xmas morning) and planned our wedding for a little over 10 months after the proposal.
We are old so we didnt want to waste any time I guess.

Got engaged on our 5-year anniversary (started dating while we were in college)... but, we both knew we'd get married within a month of knowing each other... it was just a matter of time and being ready

FH and I dated 9 years before he proposed and we will be married on our 10 year anniversary of us knowing each other... (we met when we were teenagers)
