We dated for 5 yrs and got engaged and when we get married (this month) it will be 7 yrs total

omg this is a little embarassing

we were together 8 years when he proposed - we started dating when we were 15 - and we will be on our honeymoon for our tenth anniversary. . .

and i still had no idea that he would propose - whenever i brought it up he insisted it would be closer to our tenth anniversary - probably because i am so nosy if I had any clue I would have investigating!

I was with my boyfriend for 8 years as well. He proposed in disney world on our 8 year anniversary! hahaha. I have been with him since we were 16. I am still getting used to calling him my fiance~!

And he also surprised me too cause everytime we talked about it , he would say the same thing as your fiance, sometime in the 9 or 10 year MARK. Hahaha.

we dated for 5 years and 9 months. we were young when we started dated we're not that young anymore

1 1/2 years....it was 2 1/2 by the time we got married

we dated for almost 4 years when we got engaged...it was exactly 3 years 10 months

we've been together since my senior year of highschool..... just about 3 1/2 years till he popped the question.

I been dating my FI for 9 years September will be 10 years

Dated for 7 years before he proposed and knew each other like 13! We met in 7th grade and even dated in 8th grade.

FH proposed after 2 yrs and 4 months. We will be engaged 1 yr and 11 months when we get married. I do know a few people that got engaged in less then a year in their late twenties, but then I also have a few that have been dating for 3+ yrs and they talk about getting engaged, but aren't thinking anytime soon.
