Novemberbride: We are also having the crownign ceremony, but in the Greek Orthodox Church. Now I'm wondering if I should call the Church and double check that it will only be 30 mins.

Marcela1654, I would check with them for piece of mind. I guess it depends on the priest and the church. I can't even imagine how long it would be if we asked for the mass. We hired the church musician from 3:30 -5pm. Our ceremony starts at 4pm. I will have to make sure I start at 4pm sharp because I don't want the musician packing up before we leave.LOL

Full mass. I just asked my FH and he said b/w 45 minutes to an hour. My FH has a long time family friend that's a monsignor and he will be performing our service/ceremony. (FH's mom is a former nun.)

My former co-worker is Eastern Rite Catholic, and I saw her wedding video and the ceremony is indeed BEAUTIFUL! Enjoy it!

Our ceremony will be about 15-20 minutes long. We're getting married at the reception site.
