Is there a norm for how long ceremony + cocktail hour + reception are?
Was just watching Four Weddings and one of the girls had her ceremony start at 3:00pm and reception end at 12:30am! This is not even close to what we're having! Our whole thing is from 7-12:00am and that feels about right...although I don't know if it's too short?! Ceremony at 7, cocktail 7:30-8:30, reception 8:30-12.

Mine is exactly that... 3pm ceremony at a church, then 730 ch and 830-1230 reception
so is mine - 3 pm ceremony - CH 730 and then 830-1230 reception

Our mass is at 3:00 Cocktail hour 7-8 Reception 8-12 After party at the hotel bar - 3am! (hopefully we all make it till then haha)

2:30-3:30 ceremony

We got ours to end at 12:30 now...Hopefully people will stay till atleast 12 :P
What time does the cake cutting normally happen within the 4 hrs?

my church is at 2. cocktail hour starts at 7-8:30 reception is 8:30pm-1:30am
