How long were you guys together before you got engaged???

we met june 6, 2004, only about 4 months ago.. we already went away for 9 days together to vegas, he bought the engagement ring.. and hes moving in to my apt, i know im only 22 but i think im making the right decsion... and both of our families loveeeee each of us and they dont have any problem with our decisions so far.... we are waiting 2more years to get married.... i couldnt wait much longer then that i love him so much

Well, we've been friends since high school (in and out of each other's lives)...we ran into each other again about 2 and a half years ago and dated until we got engaged two months ago. We also just finished our first (really great!) year of living together.

I think it's great that you are planning a long engagement...it's good to see how your significant other can handle the bad times along with the good. Two years gives you plenty of ups and downs to tackle together! Good luck!!!!

4 1/2 years!!!! (next week it will be our 5 year aniversary!!!! yeah!!!)... we will be married just before out 6th year... CRAZY how time flys!

my FH and i have known each other for almost 4 years now, though we dated on and off. we got back together april of 2003 - engaged october 2003- and we're gonna be married in this november 2004!!!!


i also wanted to say that i think its great that you are planning a 2 year engagement! i met my FH when i was 20, and im 24 now. age isnt an issue for me!

well we met dec 2000 at work, didn't really hang out with eachother until feb 2001 and were on a cross country trip for 3 weeks by july 2001..my parents had a fit when they heard i was travelling cross country with 'a stranger'. we got engaged july 2004 and we're getting married june 2005..i recommend going cross country with fh because you really get to know him being the only two people in the world on the desert roads..what an experience..

We knew each other a year and a half when we got engaged... though I knew we were gong to get married a few months into our relationship.

dated for 1 1/2 years... will be engaged for 11months when we get married.

We dated 23 months, have been engaged about 14months and will be married in 5 days.

Dated for 2 years, 4 mos when we got engaged. We'll be together 3 1/2 years when we get married.

We have known each other since High school ( he was a senior when I was a freshman) but we didn't start dating till March of 2000. It was just a little over 2 years (June of 2002) when we got engaged.
We have been engaged for almost 2 1/2 yrs by the time we walk down the asile.
March will make it five yrs togther and 4 months married!

We met each other in 1997 but didn't begin dating 1999. We've been dating for 4 1/2 years. SO we've been together for 4 years before we got engaged. We'll be married in 24 days

We dated for a year and 10 months before we got engaged. Our engagement will be a year and 7 months!!

We met at work in April 2000, started dating in Sept 2000, and got engaged Nov 2003. So we were together a little over 3 years before getting engaged.

We started dating in june 2001, got engaged for our one year anniversay in june 2002; were engaged for almost 2 years, and have been married for 5 months!
