well, i work at brokerage firm & they are constantly laying people off. sadly, i go to work everyday wondering if i'm next.

mary this is a great thread and unfortunately i think everyone is hurting due to this 'recession' that is much more like a DEPRESSION!

i think its just about everyone, my and dh have decent jobs but with the all these price increases we are surely feeling it, it totally *****

DH just got laid off this week..a week after we came home from our honeymoon and a month after we we bought a house. I can't even tell you how upset I am. By the way, if anyone is looking for mortgages, loans, etc. please stay away from WELLS FARGO. They treated all of their employees like criminals.
