Did you, or are you planning to, take off from work BEFORE your wedding? I am trying to schedule my time off, I don't know how much free time I am going to need before hand. I am getting married on a Sunday, I was thinking maybe Thursday as my last day.
I also don't have any more paid time off for this year so I have to consider that too.

I took off Friday and I am getting married on a Sunday. I wish I could take more but I am taking off two weeks for the HM.

I got married on a Saturday - I flew to NY the week before and worked for a few hours each day, M-W, in an LI office (so I wouldn't have to use vacation time). Thursday and Friday I took off completely.

I am getting married on Saturday, and I will be taking off Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before to finish up last minute stuff.

I got married on a Friday, and took off on Wednes, Thurs, and of course that Friday. I thought it was plenty of time

Im getting married on a Sunday too....Taking off the Friday before, returning 2 Wed. after the wedding....a total of 7 business days, 1 holiday (day after wed)..I figure the Friday before I want to spend that day with my Mom and MOH to go to the Spa and get massages and do nothing....My rehersal is the Sunday before so I have the week to do things

i hope there is not much to do... i graduate 6 months before my wedding.. i dont htink i'll be at a job long enoug to take off more than my 2 weeks for vacation..with my saterday wedding.. im hoping they'll be nice and let me out earlier on that friday

Thanks girls. I'm thinking I'll just take off that Sat. and Sunday, and see if I can have a 1/2 day on Friday. That way I'll still get my 5 work days in for that week. As it is my entire honeymoon (5 work days) has to be unpaid time.

I am taking off Friday for my Sunday wedding.
I will return teh following Wednesday, I am giving myself one full day to recouperate after teh honeymoon...

Luckily my wedding is after my first year in law school and I'll be out of school for about 3 weeks before the big day. Not enough time to start working and then take off, so I'll be totally free for about 3 weeks before my wedding day! I love school!

depends on when we can get church to do rehersal. my wedding is a sunday, so hoping to just take off the friday (to relax & not have to run around at last minute)

I am getting married on a Saturday and I am planning on taking the Thursday and Friday before off. That Thursday is my Rehearsal dinner so I don't plan on waking up Friday for work. Plus, I want to spend some time with my family coming in from out of state.
