We have our first app't tomorrow with Vineyard Caterers. We would also like to see North Ritz Club, Lands End, Flowerfields, Cresent Beach Club, and East End. Anyone have any feedback?

We checked out three:
Koenig's The Inn at New Hyde Park The Sand Castle
And we booked the SC! I always knew I wanted the SC, but we were open to looking at others, in order to be able to compare prices, what was being offered, etc. We were going to check out Jericho Terrace after the Sand Castle, but we got a great deal at the SC that we booked on the spot, so our search ended there.

I went to: The Riviera Jericho Terrace Fox Hollow Millerdge Inn Westbury Manor Chateau Briand Coral House I think that is it There were alot more on the list but, we fell in love with The Riviera

I checked out 5 RHs in the entire Tri-State...my fav was The Manor in NJ. Didn't go w/ it cus' most of our fam is closer to LI.
There are RH magazines that give excellent descriptions of RHs in the tri-state area.

I checked out the Cresent Beach Club and it was amazing---the price however was a little too high for us. They also only off one main dish surf and turf...there aren't any other choices for you to offer your guests. Beautiful grounds though.

I went to Vineyard Caterers, Lands End, & Flowerfields. In my opinion I didn't find a place that even compared to Flowerfields. I thought is was sooooo beautiful, plus their staff is so professional and has things down to a science. However, their price was just not in the budget and there is literally no negoitating. Land's End, the other lovin oven property, also very pretty but I loved Flowerfields. Vineyard Caterers was nice, but it didnt work out with my church, its just too far.

We only when to Russo's on the Bay. We knew we wanted to get married there and only went there.

Just three! Villa Lombardis, Lands End
and our RH Majestic Gardens. I fell in love with the place as soon as i saw the marble dance floor! and the fountain and gardens were gorgeous. I am ver happy about the price and that it was only one wedding at a time.

We looked at 3
Woodbury Country Club Crest Hollow Country Club Jericho Terrace
We were going to look at: Larkfield Manor Fox Hollow Glen Cove Mansion
but after we saw Jericho Terrace we fell in love with it. I know they can have more than one reception but as of not too long ago I was still the only bride for 12/27/08...we'll see if that changes.

it is interesting to see how different everyone is! some people checked out 2 places, other people many more! we've already seen 14 places, and I must have called about 20 more. Perhaps I'm way too picky. We're looking for Kosher so it narrows it down a bit. Too tired tonight to list them all, but saw a lot of the same as many other people listed also. We haven't found a place yet. Each one has something unique, but most have all been very similar catering hall type places. FM if you want some more details!

I've always loved the Crescent Club since I grew up in Bayville but I really love the Swan Club too!
