How many people do you planon inviting to your shower?
My MOH's are asking me to start putting together my list (yayyy they are taking interest). So far my list (including all the BM's) and my moms list is 30. My FMIL probably won't invite anyone because they are all out of town. Does 30 seem too high, or does it seem ok?

I just gave my list to my SIL (she planning it) and i had about 43 guests on my.

That seems fine, I think my list had around 50ish
this but only 30 of them live in nyc - the rest are what we call 'courtesy invites' lol

Wow I feel like I have no one... I highlighted all the females on my guest list and it really doesn't seem like that many. I know we're going to end up having a small wedding, but now I feel weird having such a small shower.
I don't remember the exact number of guests of the top of my head though...

Thats pretty much my situation but I don't think my MIL will invite those OOS. Who knows. We shall see.

Yea.. I think we're at at least 80. A lot are OOT guests though, so I'm thinking it will be more like 50-60.
My poor BMs.... and by poor I mean they really can't pay for that many people... recent college grads are broke. I definitely forsee opening up the checkbook again in the near future..

I gave my mom a list of about 48 women and my 2 gay best male friends who don't want to be at the Jack party, they prefer to be at the Jill party. She wants it to be a total surprise and won't let me decide on anything when it comes to my shower. So I really don't know what will happen with my list. The day of, my Dad will host a Jack party at my parents house. The day of my sister's shower my dad had a Jack party and the guys had a blast and they requested that he does it again for my shower.
