My FH and I do notttt live together, my mother would not have it
Although my DAD (you would think it would be the other way around!) doesn't care, his parents are both like 'Just move out together already' haha.
I WISH!!!!
Opinion:
I would love to live with him even though 'its not the right thing to do before you are married' that way we can find out our peeves lol and work on them! I had a friend who was engaged, lived with the boy and he dumped her because she LOADED THE DISHWASHER WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think living together first is a good idea that way you know what bothers you and what doesnt and all that fun stuff :)

I think it is the best thing to live together first !!! My FH and I have lived together and have been dating for a few years before we got engaged! I highly recommend it bc you get to see before you are married if you can deal with the person on a daily basis. Remember its all good when you are just going out together without bills and money involved.
If you can pay bills together and hold a household i think things will work out! You need to know the persons habit and as much as you think you live together bc maybe he stays over at your place or you stay at his .. It is very different.

my situation is similar to yours...i have absolutely no problem with those who live together before marriage, but my parents would NOT have it lol FH and I actually purchased our first home back in June and still do not live together lol we have, however, completely combined our finances and spend a lot of time together and the house getting it all ready for the big move on our wedding night

Fh and I dont live together... he is allow to sleep at my house on the weekends though LOL... (so we do live together Friday N Saturday lol)
I will start living with him ONCE we get marry... otherwise I will not leave my house.....

We've lived together for three years now. . . it's funny because he moved up to Boston without a job just so he could be with me (what a cutie!)
But honestly, you learn SOOO much about a person by living with them. There were a few things we both had to change in order to be okay... and it obviously worked for the better! As long as you go into it with open arms KNOWING that they'll have habits you don't necessarily agree with, you'll be fine.
On the other hand, my FH parent's bought a house together 3 months before their wedding, but because their parents didn't agree with them living together they were paying the mortgage on the house WITHOUT living in it.... CRAZY absurd. Thank goodness they didn't care. . . they're the reason we bought the house... they wouldn't stop pushing for it.

we've been living together for the past 2 years. I wouldn't do it any other way.
It was rough at 1st. Definetely not the fairytale i thought it'd be! LOL! BUT; i'm glad that we did it when we did. We're working through all our issues slowly & steadily. This way when we get married not much will have to change. I couldn't imagine being married and in that newlywed bliss and then being upset over the things you'll see you'll deal with when you share a home with someone.

FH and I moved in together about 2.5 years ago after we would stay at eachothers houses on the weekends. My mom sold our house up here and moved to Florida so I was either gonna go live with my Dad a half hour away or move in with FH. So I moved in with him and his parents until our apartment was completely renovated. Looking back now, if I still had the chance to live at home before marriage I would have. I think it was a great learning experience but I think things would have been different if we didn't move in.

FH and I have been living together for 5 months and I love it! I moved on LI from Montreal and it did not make sense to me to spend $1500 a month on an apartment when FH owns a house. More money for the wedding!!!

My FH have been living together for almost a year now. I moved in to the apartment (it was his mom's before she passed away) after we got engaged. There were kinks and there still is sometimes but for the most part it has worked out wonderfully for us. We love cooking dinner together, cleaning together, etc...
It was the best decision for us at the time, although we want to move before we get married so that we can have 'our place' for when we get back from the honeymoon....

we live together in FH parents house and we do not sleep in the same bedroom! we are actually on different floors which sucks..
it is hard living with his parents (rather live with mine lol) but we are saving and we know we cant afford to move out..
plus both parents wouldnt like it very much since we are not married yet

FH and I have been living together for 1 yr and a half. I really think is better this way because u really get to know each other, beleive me, it's not gonna be easy because there is never gonna be 2 people with the mind, but when there is real love, u learn to compromise and meet each other half way, and the kind of love that grows from that is much stronger than the initial sparkle!

we live together.... for abt 2 years now...
i had my own apt and fh lived at home - he was ALWAYS staying here so it just made sense!
I like that we were able to work out the 'kinks' b4 we got married... now i know what im in for... lol

I moved into FH's house about a 18 mths ago, (after we were dating about 1 year). It is def a personal choice and before we even got 'serious' we both discussed how we wouldn't marry someone without living with them first.
I am real happy that we did, we were able to see a different side to each other and it made us so much closer.
My folks and grandparents DEF were not exactly a 'fan' of the idea, but they love FH and got over it real quick.

I don't live with my FH yet. He has a house that we are remodeling so it's a bit of a war zone right now. We want to try to get a lot done over winter break so that I can move in. It's really hard for me to say goodbye to him when I leave, I only spend about 1/2 the week there now. The wedding is 5 months away, we really need to get cracking on the house!

I live with my FH, and have been for about a year and a half. It was one of the best decisions we ever made we think. I feel that we learned so much more about each other because of it. Also it eliminated so many fights! With both of our busy schedules planning time to see eachother and living out of a bag made us both crazy. But I believe it is a personal decision. As long as you are both happy that is what matters most!

we do not but we both really wish we did! just couldnt justify wasting money on rent before the wedding! it will be the start of a new adventure, for sure!

i live with my FH, and we have been living together for almost 2 year, but i was already pregnant when we moved in together
In my opinion, i think you should live with the person before you marry them because you never truely know someone until you have to be with them ALL them time and see all there little things they do

FH and I have been living together pretty much as long as we have been dating....we were living at school together with one other roommate...
things changed around the time we got engaged and got our own apt. we fought a lot in the first few months of living just the two of us but then got to know each others quirks and things like that. Now, it's just so nice to have someone to come home to!
