I'm in Pennsylvania for college and FH is going to be working in MD once he gets back from Finland (training).
We used to live in NY but only go back (to visit our parents) during the holidays. It's definitely a struggle having such limited time to visit halls and to get things going.
How are you all making out with the planning?

Planning from Philly. Me and Fh are originally from the island, so thats where our families are. we go to long island about once or twice a month and the whole time we're there we're doing wedding stuff.

Hey, can I crash your party for a second? If so many of you are from Pennsylvania, NJ, and CT, maybe you can help me. I really want to get married at a country inn or B&B - a place where the bridal party can stay, and we can kind of take over the place for 2 nights and have a whole wedding weekend. I've been out to see a few places in NJ and PA, and we're going to CT next weekend but our list of places I've found on the internet is pretty short. Do any of you have any suggestions? Please, any help at all would be much appreciated. Thank you!

ME! Im from NY but now i am living in California while attending school here and FH works here so yeah its def hard but its manageable...thank goodness for american airlines $330 roundtrip deals!! I already became a Platinum member because i fly to NY SO much and i have accumulated thousands of miles that i use for free trips as well! so it kinda works out

So how do you go about the whole 'frequent flyer miles' thing? Are you in a 'club' or do you sign up with your credit card company...? I fly a lot but silly me never considered it!
I'm actually home in NY for Fall Break Mom, Dad and I are checking out the North Ritz Club, Chateau La Mer, Jericho Terrace, Westbury Manor, and hopefully the Vanderbilt Mansion- Centerport this weekend
I'll be heading back to school on Sunday and won't be in NY again until Thanksgiving

i'm planning from north carolina... and it's crazy~ we've booked all major vendors and we're only missing the invites now to be designed and the honeymoon to be planned. it's taken a serious toll on my schoolwork tho.

lol! same here, won't be flying baq again until nov.... i have a delta skymiles and a aadvantage card that lets me accumulate mileage when i use those 2 CC's. it's totally awesome and definitely worth it!!!
