I plan on taking pictures at Sunken Meadow beach. Its a short distance from our church and we have alot of time in between ceremony and hall. If it rains I'm not quite sure what to do.

taking pics at vanderbilt mansion in centerport(eagle's nest) and the reception hall. I just love the architecture at the museum in centerport.

We're hoping to go elsewhere, but we're not sure where yet. We were going to go to Westbury Gardens, but we don't want to shell out another $300!!!!

If the limo drivers drive like mad (but safely) we can make it to Cedar Beach or West Meadow Beach before it gets dark, which is on the way to the reception hall. We have a 3pm ceremony and the sun will set at 4:48pm!

Just some advice, if you can take pics somewhere besides hall do it, I am so Thankful I had time & a place for pics (I went to Oystr Bay Arboretum)

Hopefully I will be able to take some near Lake Ronkonkoma, I would love to take them in Northport Harbor (my hall is in East Northport) but by the time I get there it will be almost dark.

We went to see the Old Westbury Gardens and the Planting Fields. We chose the planting fields because it was a lot cheaper, there will not be an attendant following us around, and we generally liked the scenery. Hopefully we get a nice day!

We are taking our pictures at the hall because we do not have much time between the church and reception due to traveling time.

We're taking pics at the church (b/c they have nice grounds) and at the Garden City Gazebo which is a few blocks away from the church.

We're also stopping at the Oakdale Arbouretum (sp??). It's halfway between our church and the reception site.

JennBaby I sent you an FM. I wanted to take pictures at the Aroboretum too, I'm just not sure how to coordinate it w/timing. Maybe someone has an idea. We were going to take limos to the Swan Club separately w/our families and take all pictures ahead of time and be at our cocktail hour. We are having the ceremoney and reception at the same place. I thought it would be too much running around to bring our families to the Arboretum too. I really want to take pictures there though, how can we make this all happen?
