We invited 149 and 37 said no (or never even responded) for a total of 112.
On the day of, 3 people did not show up (one couple had an emergency and one person's guest got sick) and one person with a guest just showed up after I never heard back from her on if she was attending or not even after calling and leaving messages. Her and her family ended up getting pissed at me when they didn't see a placecard for her. We're supposed to assume people will come and just pay for them?This turned into a whole fiasco where that family (my step dad's own brother, wife, and kids) are not even talking with my family now. Weddings truly bring out everyone's true colors.
Wow that's horrible... but for them to assume that they could just show up without confirming with an RSVP is totally retarded. Grr on them!!
