I do. I get bored with the regular ring tones or having the same one for a long time.
I have Green Day's 'American Idiot' right now. I only buy one every three or four months.

I never have until yesterday. My co-worker turned me on to it, so I blame him He has different ring tones for when different people call him. His roomate has The Godfather theme, his other roomate has P.I.M.P. Me? I get Jenny from the Block

I did a few times with my old phone (I think it was also cheaper like 99 cents for them). I HATE all the default rings on my phone now and am trying to decide on something new. But ssshhhhh!!!! Don't tell DH!!!

I have bought a few ringtones. The ones that come with the phones are so boring now.

I have 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia' as my default ringtone.

'The Muppet Show Theme' is for my two best friends.

'Happy Days Theme' is for my family.

'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' (IZ Hawaiian version) is for DH.

I did once when I got my new phone, pretty muchb ecuse I could, but usually I have it on vibrate, so I don't bother.

Well, I think I just wasted $1.99 because they keep sending me the ringtone but I can't download it ...

I bought a few with my first phone... 'Tainted Love' and '99 Luftballoons', but my last phone had this awesome cat meow for a ring tone! I loved it because it used to freak out my cat and Sammy! With my new phone I haven't downloaded anything. I can't really be bothered anymore.

Not all the time - I only downloaded 2 tones One was before we got married, I downloaded the Wedding March and then after we were married I downloaded our wedding song - This I Swear, by Nick Lachey

I downloaded one but after receiving my cell phone bill I will NEVER do it again!
Sure, the first download was free, but they neglected to tell me that just LISTENING to various ringtones cost me....they charged me per KB! $17!!! To hell with US cellular!

DH's phone has bluetooth so he just downloads ones that are available and he sends them via bluetooth to his phone. I don't know where he gets them though! I wish my phone had bluetooth!

You said it! Now he wants to connect the printer with bluetooth! Why does he need so many gadgets and why do they usually cost a lot of money! He is also getting a new Mac...G5 with some huge monitor (at least he's doing some freelance to pay for that)!

I never did until recently...I was bored with the ringtones on my phone...I know have the theme song from the Dukes of Hazzards play when my phone rings...FH thinks I'm nuts...one of my fav shows growing up...
