I'm just curious..it seems people have really different ideas about it...example- I thought it was just female relatives and closest friends and my FMIL things EVERY female invited to the wedding should be invited....
Also, did anyone have multiple showers?
I think 60 are invited to my shower and i'm having one (i think) lol

i think only close female friends and relatives should be invited! in my case though, there will be about 50-60 guests. i come from a huge family and all my cousins are female and so are all their kids.

Mine had 55-60 on it- and I feel very bad because it is costing everyone a lot of money to throw it...

I also feel bad for my BM!...I have 6 and the moms (FMIL,stepmom and real mom) are helping out but I'm still feeling really guilty that its too many people and costing too much for them (not that I really know the cost or anything!)

We're having a 300 person wedding and def NOT having a 150 person shower-- so we will not be inviting all the females.

I am having 2 showers-One with my family and close friends and one in Vermont with FHs family. My NY shower guest list is about 35 people. I have no clue what FHs mother has planned.

We are inviting 200 people to the wedding, but only invited about 40 guests to the shower.

i acutally thought in the beginning that it was every femal who is invited to the wedding- but thats just insane- its mostly for close female family and friends.... i have about 50 invited.

We invited 40 and only about half of them are coming. We have quite a few OOTers so thats probably why.
