Before you booked? It's the biggest expense for the wedding besides the RH and I want to make sure I get the best while not getting ripped off. So far I have 2 that I am meeting with this Thursday...

we wound up really only meeting with 2. I had seen several at bridal expos, but only went with FH to two meetings, we wound up Booking the second, which was Duet

Just one but I knew I was booking them before the appointment since my sister used them and I loved her pictures!

I emailed like 10 photographers to get info. I met with over 10 photographers and booked mine at midnight in his office. He actually stayed to accommodate us.

I met with 6 photographers, and chose the first one we met with, Photography by Christos ...couldn't be happier with the choice!

I met with 4....of which one was horrible....the other three did great work; I went with the one who was more professional and contacted me back within a reasonable amount of time regarding any questions I had.
One totally forgot to send me before and after pics, and the other, well, I'm still waiting for a response to my questions!

We met with 2. After the first one, we knew we were going to take them, and they came highly recommended by my cousin. But we went to a 2nd place to get price comparisons...then went back to the original to negotiate our terms.

We ended up going with Duet.

I met with 8. I think photo was more important than anything withe me.
I actually met more photo/video ppl than RH's.

My cousin got married last year, I'm going with her photographer. $300.00 deposit, $700.00 the day of my wedding, and he gives me a DVD with all the photos to take home with me. He also included engagement photos for free. The good thing is I don't have to spend thousands on a photographer before my wedding. I can do my albums whenever I want than pay for them when I do the order. Everything with him is 'pay as you go'. You still end up paying about the same as a package, the good thing is we're not laying out all this money before the wedding.
