I just bought some calligraphy pens thinking I would be addressing the invites myself ... but after 3 youtube videos, now I'm not so sure ...

Re: How much $$
I practiced calligraphy when I was younger and I got pretty decent... but it's an art, lik any other art... you need practice and talent, it's not just a matter of having nice handwriting. Even with the experience I had in the past, I don't have the time or energy to practice now, and I wouldn't just cold pick up a pen and address my own invites.

I agree!! I took two calligraphy classes in college in the last year, aced both of them, and still never did my invites. It takes a lot of practice to 'warm up your hand' so that it flows so nicely.

Re: How much $$
We did the computer print in a very pale gray so you wouldn't see it.

I have a place you all can check out. I got mine done at Goodhue designs custom calligraphy and only paid $1 per envelope. Mary Ann is great, not sure if her prices are the same but google her and you can check out her website. FM me if you need more info.

this! when I did my STD, the best ones were towards the end. I will need to start writing regularly before I do the invites.
