How much is everyone spending on their e-party?

How much is everyone spending on their e-party?

We had to cancel our way back in January and are back to planning it, kind of last minute. We will probably end up at a fire department even though we wanted it in FH's house. We thought we could manage with the house, then decided on getting a tent, which was very expensive. Anyway, with all the money we originally spent on favors and invites and the money we are going to spend now, I can't believe how fast it adds up. It really is like a mini wedding, which was exactly why we were trying to keep it at the house so it wouldn't be such a production.

How much have you spent or do you think you will spend?

Where are you having it? A restaurant? How many people? We thought about a restaurant. We are having 70-75 people and it would be $3,000 with just the food and that is more than we want to spend. I 'think' it will probably be $1,000-1,500. That is also without a lot of details planned.

Had it at Villa Umberto's it cost a little over 4500 for 80 people.Which included passed hor devours, Hot antipasto, pasta, salad, sit down dinner choice of 4 things, open bar, cordials etc. And we had a DJ. WELL WORTH IT! My Favors, CP's & invites are not included in the above number.

We spent about $2500 at a VFW hall... brought in food from a great Italian deli, had an open bar, lots of decorations to make it look nice and pretty expensive invites and favors considering where it was held. We had tons of fun and made more money than we spent.

We're not having one. We thought about it and decided to save whatever money we would spend on a potential e-party for the wedding/rainy day.

I didnt feel like having or planning one. I'm just being lazy

I am having one next weekend! But, my parents are throwing it for us so im not really sure. I wanted a small thing but my FH has such a big family (with just anuts, uncles and cousins) that we have about 90 people coming. I think its nuts bc its like a small wedding but there is no way around it! I am nervous and excited at the same time!

We aren't either. Have to save every penny we have for the wedding.

Your pics look awesome! We were looking to spend quite a bit less that you did since we have the wedding costs and are looking to move out as well. Every penny counts now. It looks like you had a nice party though!

My parents threw the party for us and spent a lil over 4,000 to rent out the top floor of an amazing restaurant: 21 Main. We had only about 55 people bc we wanted to keep it small and intimate. All my family and our friends are big drinkers/ partiers so the bar tab was about another 2 grand

I have no idea how much mine cost because my parents paid. It was small though, with about 40 people at a country club. Only 3 people were from FH's side since he's from MA

I am having it at a restuarant. We invited 94 people so the price per person brings it up to a little under $3000. We also got a liquor package which def bumps up the price. We also are getting flowers for CP's which add up and of course the favors.
