How much is everyone spending on their e-party?

We had to cancel our way back in January and are back to planning it, kind of last minute. We will probably end up at a fire department even though we wanted it in FH's house. We thought we could manage with the house, then decided on getting a tent, which was very expensive. Anyway, with all the money we originally spent on favors and invites and the money we are going to spend now, I can't believe how fast it adds up. It really is like a mini wedding, which was exactly why we were trying to keep it at the house so it wouldn't be such a production.

How much have you spent or do you think you will spend?

god bless you girls that planned not just the wedding but also an e-party! I'm having enough trouble just doing 1 !!!

I think planning is the best part! I would plan another party if someone gave me the money to!

Its costing FH and I about $5,000 for the hall, food, open bar. They threw in the cake and people to walk aorund with food for like 45 min. DJ $400. Misc $200

My parents are throwing it in July at my dad's country club. I don't think it is supposed to be too elaborate... but I am excited about my outfit for it! And the photo session we are having with this amazingly talented AP photo student from my school. We couldn't fit our Duet session in before the party. I am kinda excited about it, but many people can't make it because they are going on vacations. Oh well. As long as they save the wedding date!

we didn't send out the invites yet.. next week...

we wanted to make sure we had our hm booked first because we are only registering for that for our e party

my apartment has a clubhouse which is free and there are chairs and tables already there

grandma buying cake

decorations

Fh bring his stereo and i burned some CDS

we going to buy alchol

party favors....

i say everything will be $250-$300

We are spending about 2,000 and we are having it at a Hibernian Hall with about 150 people, DJ, catered food, favors and centerpieces. We are trying to stay on a budget.

We spent about 2k at a hall and we catered the food ourselves, had a DJ favors, CPs the whole nine yards for about 70 people. Cooking the food ourselves made a huge difference

I'm having the same problem! With just the immediate family invited we are at 130!!!!!
And every place I or my MOH calls its like $80.00 per person! Its like a small wedding. I just want a nice place with awesome food and room for a dj.
Is that too much to ask?? LOL

Try Peppercorns. The food is excellent and they are pretty reasonable. They throw in a good cake and you have the option of getting CP's too.

'10 crasher here...We had ours at a catering hall- for about 120 people with open bar, sit down dinner, dj, cp's, favors, invitations, etc...it came to a lil more the $8,000. It was well worth it...everyone had a great time!
